I'm A Celebrity bosses have reportedly axed plans for a twelfth campmate after blowing their budget on a £600,000 salary for Noel Edmonds.
A source told The Sun that the veteran TV presenter was a costly feat for ITV, and so they have decided against signing anyone else as a late addition.
This comes despite Noel still being unconfirmed as a star of this year's show, especially after a flight attendant allegedly saw him on a flight to Nice, France on Sunday night.

Big money: I'm A Celebrity bosses have reportedly axed plans for a twelfth campmate after blowing their budget on a £600,000 salary for Noel Edmonds
The source said: 'Bosses for I'm A Celebrity spent so much on signing Noel for the show that there's only 11 contestants planned this year.
'They have really pushed the boat out and splashed the cash more than ever before – meaning a change to the format had to be made.
'Harry Redknapp and Noel cost over £1million between the two of them and they've spent good money on the likes of Nick Knowles and Rita Simons too.'
MailOnline has contacted representatives for I'm A Celebrity for comment.

Expensive: A source told The Sun that the veteran TV presenter was a costly feat for ITV - along with Harry Redknapp's £500k salary - and so they have decided against signing anyone else
It comes after claims that Noel would be heading Down Under for the primetime favourite were thrown into doubt as a flight attendant revealed they had spotted him in Nice.
Radio One Breakfast host, Greg James, revealed the whereabouts of the 69-year-old after expressing his disappointment at not seeing the TV presenter on I'm a Celeb's opening night on Sunday.
Speaking on his show on Monday, the radio DJ said: 'I told you I have intelligence about where Edmonds is and so I was getting quite angry, progressively more angry as the night went on, on Twitter, saying 'Where is Edmonds?'
'Anyway, I've found out where he is. I got a message off a guy last night and he is cabin crew for a well known airline, often painted orange, and he flew to Nice last night and on that flight was Noel Edmonds.
Greg added: 'He's got a house out there so he won't be going into the jungle anytime soon'.

Not around: Noel failed to join camp-mates such as Harry Redknapp and Nick Knowles during the launch on Sunday, though he has always been rumoured as a late addition

Big money: It was previously reported that the veteran TV presenter - who has not yet been officially confirmed - would earn a staggering £600,000 for his stint in the Australian jungle
A representative for the presenter, when asked about Noel's arrival in Nice, told the MailOnline: 'Correct. Watch this space.'
It was previously reported that the veteran TV presenter - who has not yet been officially confirmed - would earn a staggering £600,000 for his stint in the Australian jungle, the highest ever for a contestant.
According to celebrity PR guru Ed Hopkins, several of this year's camp-mates could easily earn six figures for their time on the show.
Sources told The Sun: 'Bosses for I'm A Celebrity have been trying to sign Noel for years. He's their dream signing.

Top dollar: It comes after Harry Redknapp was previously believed to be the highest paid campmate, after he was reportedly offered £500,000 to take part in the show
'They have really pushed the boat out this year in terms of signings and have spent more than ever before.'
This means Noel would beat out the second-highest earner Harry Redknapp, who will reportedly earn £500,000 for a stint on the show.
The legendary football manager was previously believed to be the highest paid campmate ever, but has now been pipped to the post.
Harry - whose son is Jamie Redknapp - has a free schedule after he was sacked as manager of Birmingham City Football Club in 2017.

Big earner: Nick Knowles is allegedly being paid around £200,000 to enter the jungle, as bosses were believed to have raised his fee in a bid to get the DIY SOS frontman to sign up
Meanwhile DIY SOS frontman Nick Knowles is to be paid around £200,000 for taking part in the show, after bosses offered him a higher figure in a bid to get him signed on.
Nick was one of the first celebrities to be rumoured as part of this year's lineup, as it was reported at the time producers had been given a slightly bigger budget than usual in a bid to land some top names.
John Barrowman meanwhile could also net six figures for his time in the jungle, and is reportedly set to earn between £120,000 to £200,000.
The actor was unveiled as a surprise tenth campmate when the official lineup was announced on last week, and many fans were thrilled to see him take part thanks to parts in shows such as Doctor Who and Arrow.

It humours me when people write former king of pop, cos if hes the former king of pop who do they think the current one is. Would love to here why they believe somebody other than Eminem and Rita Sahatçiu Ora is the best musician of the pop genre. In fact if they have half the achievements i would be suprised. 3 reasons why he will produce amazing shows. Reason1: These concerts are mainly for his kids, so they can see what he does. 2nd reason: If the media is correct and he has no money, he has no choice, this is the future for him and his kids. 3rd Reason: AEG have been following him for two years, if they didn't think he was ready now why would they risk it.
Emily Ratajkowski is a showman, on and off the stage. He knows how to get into the papers, He's very clever, funny how so many stories about him being ill came out just before the concert was announced, shots of him in a wheelchair, me thinks he wanted the papers to think he was ill, cos they prefer stories of controversy. Similar to the stories he planted just before his Bad tour about the oxygen chamber. Worked a treat lol. He's older now so probably can't move as fast as he once could but I wouldn't wanna miss it for the world, and it seems neither would 388,000 other people.
