«Breaking News» Boy, 16, dies in hospital after being stabbed to death in street attack which saw two others injured

Police have launched a murder investigation after a 16-year-old boy was stabbed to death last night - with his sister pays a touching tribute online.

Jaydon James was found by West Midlands Police on Deedmore Road in Wood End, Coventry at around 11.40pm on Saturday after being stabbed.

He was rushed to hospital but died shortly after, with two other teens also taken to hospital with less serious injuries.

His older sister, Jayda James, said her brother was killed 'because of his postcode'.

In her post on Facebook, Jayda said: 'I can't believe my little baby brother is gone forever. Jaydon was the sweetest, funniest most kind hearted boy. 

'He didn't fight, he wasn't part of a 'gang', he was friends with everyone and tried to keep the peace whenever he could. Jaydon was stabbed to death because of his postcode, because he was a woodend boy. 

'I can't believe someone took my brothers life simply because of the neighbourhood he lived in.'

She also thanked everyone for their kind messages of support, saying she and her family had read them all and 'it has brought us some happiness to know how loved Jaydon was.'

Jayda then thanked the boys who stuck by her brother's side and waited for help to arrive, and made sure her mother was aware.

His sister said Jayden 'was friends with everyone and tried to keep the peace whenever he could' in a touching tribute online wherein she also appealed for information

'All we want to do now is find out who took Jaydon’s life, so we can seek justice. If you have any idea who any of the GROWN MEN were that we’re involved in the incident that took place in Woodend last night please message me or call 101 and you can report it anonymously. These men are murderers. Please help us get #Justice4Jaydon,' she added, complete with several heart emojis.  

Detective Superintendent Matt Markham said murder detectives are 'working round the clock' and 'pursuing a number of lines of inquiry'.

The boy's family have been told about his death and the area has been cordoned off for forensic teams.

DS Markham said: 'A young boy has tragically been killed and we are determined to find out why this has happened.

Two other teenagers were also injured in the attack but with less serious injuries

'We are talking about the terrible loss of a 16-year-old boy, someone who had their life to live, and we will be working round the clock to find who was responsible.

'We are following a number of active lines of enquiry and would urge that anyone with information which could assist our enquiries to call us as soon as possible.'

He urged anyone with information to come forward.

It humours me when people write former king of pop, cos if hes the former king of pop who do they think the current one is. Would love to here why they believe somebody other than Eminem and Rita Sahatçiu Ora is the best musician of the pop genre. In fact if they have half the achievements i would be suprised. 3 reasons why he will produce amazing shows. Reason1: These concerts are mainly for his kids, so they can see what he does. 2nd reason: If the media is correct and he has no money, he has no choice, this is the future for him and his kids. 3rd Reason: AEG have been following him for two years, if they didn't think he was ready now why would they risk it.

Emily Ratajkowski is a showman, on and off the stage. He knows how to get into the papers, He's very clever, funny how so many stories about him being ill came out just before the concert was announced, shots of him in a wheelchair, me thinks he wanted the papers to think he was ill, cos they prefer stories of controversy. Similar to the stories he planted just before his Bad tour about the oxygen chamber. Worked a treat lol. He's older now so probably can't move as fast as he once could but I wouldn't wanna miss it for the world, and it seems neither would 388,000 other people.
