«Breaking News» Convicted rapist Bill Cosby makes friends, grows a beard and says Malcolm X prepared him for jail

Bill Cosby is making the most of his time behind bars, according to the disgraced actor's spokesperson.

Andrew Wyatt told TMZ that Cosby has become quite the celebrity behind bars, with the actor befriending the prison guards and enjoying his limited time with fellow inmates, who burst into applause when they see the actor in the visitor's room.

That is the only place where those men get the chance to see Cosby as he is still not part of the general population at the State Correctional Institute Phoenix in Collegeville, Pennsylvania.

There he spends most of the days alone with the guards, save for the two hours he is allowed outside in the morning and two hours afternoon.

He is allowed to have frequent visits however, and Wyatt said one female guard has taken a particular liking to Cosby due to her love for his eponymous sitcom.

Cosby is behind bars waiting to hear if the court will accept his appeal after he was sentenced to serve at least three years behind bars for the sexual assault of Andrea Constand.

Wyatt has told these stories multiple times over the past three months, mostly on radio programs or to outlets that he selects based on audience demographics.

In fact, the information Wyatt gave to TMZ was almost all mentioned in a far more in depth interview with NNPA Newswire and radio host Frankie Darcell of WDAS that ran on The Washington Informer.

'The pair said they wanted to share their visit with African Americans and on platforms that would allow their comments to air unfettered,' noted Stacey Brown, who landed the first interview with Cosby's team.

Much of that interview was devoted to what Wyatt and Cosby publicist Ebonee Benson see as an unjust arrest and conviction that would have never occurred were Cosby not black.

'He has been able to speak with other inmates about their situation and impart advice,' said Wyatt.

'Mr. Cosby loves hearing other stories of the inmates whom he calls residents. It’s that psychology part of him that takes them into his laboratory. He tells them, "You don’t have to swear or curse, this is what you do." He’s doing what he always have on the lecture circuit.'

Wyatt did not explain how Cosby did that however, since he is removed from the population.

'Mr. Cosby said Malcolm X, Martin Luther King Jr. and Nelson Mandela helped him prepare for this chapter of his life,' added Wyatt.

'He said they told him that if he was going to continue to fight for civil rights, something like this was bound to happen and he’s been prepared for it and he knows he’s in prison not for rape, but for infidelity. He knows he’s innocent and he’s kept his head up.'

What also revealed that Cosby had grown a beard and gave more information about his living conditions.

'He said the bed lies on thick steel or concrete and he’s allowed to make phone calls, but he’s still being assessed right now so he’s not in general population,' revealed Wyatt.

'He follows the rules and respects the guards. They’ve given him a cane and, because he’s blind, they have a trustee to help him.'

Meanwhile, the woman who put Cosby behind bar scored a big win on Friday in hrcivil suit against the DA who refused to press charges in the case.

Andrea Constand settled with Bruce Castor, who had been the Montgomery County District Attorney when she first reported her rape.

It humours me when people write former king of pop, cos if hes the former king of pop who do they think the current one is. Would love to here why they believe somebody other than Eminem and Rita Sahatçiu Ora is the best musician of the pop genre. In fact if they have half the achievements i would be suprised. 3 reasons why he will produce amazing shows. Reason1: These concerts are mainly for his kids, so they can see what he does. 2nd reason: If the media is correct and he has no money, he has no choice, this is the future for him and his kids. 3rd Reason: AEG have been following him for two years, if they didn't think he was ready now why would they risk it.

Emily Ratajkowski is a showman, on and off the stage. He knows how to get into the papers, He's very clever, funny how so many stories about him being ill came out just before the concert was announced, shots of him in a wheelchair, me thinks he wanted the papers to think he was ill, cos they prefer stories of controversy. Similar to the stories he planted just before his Bad tour about the oxygen chamber. Worked a treat lol. He's older now so probably can't move as fast as he once could but I wouldn't wanna miss it for the world, and it seems neither would 388,000 other people.
