A Washington DC man who called the Tree of Life mass shooting a 'dry run' and idolized the shooter has been arrested on firearms charges.

Jeffrey Clark, 30, was arrested Friday after relatives tipped investigators off about concerning outbursts, which included his neo-Nazi hate speech and his claims that the 11 people killed at the Tree of Life synagogue last month 'deserved it'.

The family called the FBI on November 2 to report that Jeffrey had become more outspoken about his radical views after the shooting and his brother's suicide on the same day.

Clark and his younger brother Edward, 23, were both members of the alt-right and had 'fantasized about killing Jews and blacks', an affidavit stated.

Hours after the synagogue shooting on October 27, Edward killed himself with a Beretta pistol.

He was found dead holding eight rounds and two fully loaded magazines.

According to documents, his family told the FBI they 'believed he may have been planning to commit an act of violence on the day that he died.'

His relatives tipped the FBI off about his concerning neo-Nazi rhetoric, saying he became more outspoken after the Pittsburgh synagogue shooting. Clark is pictured holding a white supremacist flag

Clark was social media 'friends' with Robert Bowers - the man charged with opening fire on worshipers at the synagogue, according to court documents.

The men had been linked through the social media site Gab and had both openly discussed killing Jewish and black people.

According to court documents, Clark wrote on Gab that the synagogue attack was a 'dry run for things to come' and that 'the f***ing k***s that got shot by the hero #RobertBowers were all active supporters of pedophilia … and every last one of them deserved exactly what happened to them and so much worse.'

Jeffrey's profile picture on Gab included a photograph him and and Edward wearing  masks and holding what appear to be the Mossberg Maverick 88 shotgun and the Ruger Mini 14 Ranch Rifle. The Clark brothers are posed in front of a flag with a skull and crossbones.

On his profile page, Clark described himself as: 'Aka DC Stormer (RIP), 'Meth-Smoking, Pipe Bomb making, mailman-murdering,#Fed,#DemoKKKrat, Che Guevara of the altright, Glenn beck, Not a NEET – just bathing in White priviledge, Bowlcut Nationalism is the only way forward...'

The family members revealed the brothers' connection to the Pittsburgh shooter and their growing interest in firearms because they feared a civil war, according to court documents.

Clark was arrested Friday and charged with illegal possession of high-capacity firearms magazines and unlawful possession of firearms by person who is a user of or addicted to any controlled substance.

'Agents recognized several items in the boxes as parts used to modify AR-15 assault rifles,' the affidavit said.

Investigators also recovered an AR-15 rifle conversion kits and four high-capacity AR-15 magazines.

Photos from the 2017 Unite the Right rally in Charlottesville show the brothers participating in the rally that left one counter protester dead.

The family said they believe there are photos on line of the brothers standing next to James Alex Fields - the white nationalist who drove a car into a crowd of protestors, killing one and injuring 19.

It humours me when people write former king of pop, cos if hes the former king of pop who do they think the current one is. Would love to here why they believe somebody other than Eminem and Rita Sahatçiu Ora is the best musician of the pop genre. In fact if they have half the achievements i would be suprised. 3 reasons why he will produce amazing shows. Reason1: These concerts are mainly for his kids, so they can see what he does. 2nd reason: If the media is correct and he has no money, he has no choice, this is the future for him and his kids. 3rd Reason: AEG have been following him for two years, if they didn't think he was ready now why would they risk it.

Emily Ratajkowski is a showman, on and off the stage. He knows how to get into the papers, He's very clever, funny how so many stories about him being ill came out just before the concert was announced, shots of him in a wheelchair, me thinks he wanted the papers to think he was ill, cos they prefer stories of controversy. Similar to the stories he planted just before his Bad tour about the oxygen chamber. Worked a treat lol. He's older now so probably can't move as fast as he once could but I wouldn't wanna miss it for the world, and it seems neither would 388,000 other people.
