Lucy Watson has used her platform as a fan favourite on Made In Chelsea to make a difference in the world of vegan eating.
So, with two cookbooks, a restaurant and a range of ready meals on her list of achievements from the past 18 months, it's no wonder the 27-year-old wanted her kitchen finished before the rest of her Victorian home - which she and boyfriend James Dunmore are in the middle of renovating.
Content to be sat in her newly-extended and freshly-refurbished kitchen, Lucy told MailOnline just how much of her time she spends in that particular room of the house.
All of her time, basically.
Home improvement: Lucy Watson has opened up her Scandinavian-inspired kitchen and admitted that renovating her ENTIRE house has been 'testing' for her... but 'great' for her relationship
'Space and light was so important in renovating this room,' she explained, sat at the dining table, which has been salvaged from a retired fishing boat. 'This is, to me, a work-space, so light was crucial. We've extended out and added skylights.
'A lot of little details went into it. Storage was crucial because I have so many different pans, plates, cutlery. This is because I take a lot of photos of food, so I like to keep things varied.'
The room is a social space - occupied at the time of interview with Lucy and her two dogs, Digby and Marley - and Lucy has been sure to incorporate this into the design.
'I have friends over, hanging out. My sister is here a lot. And so it's nice to have them in here while I'm cooking,' she said of the room, which is separated by an island, overlooking a sofa and TV area.
'We do have a lounge but I spend all of my time in the kitchen,' she laughed.
The former reality star - who joined Made In Chelsea in its fourth season and departed the show in its 11th run, after shooting 92 episodes - lives with James, also an ex-cast member.

The pair started dating on the series and have since left it, moving in together and deciding to completely re-do the property.
'James is obsessed!' she said of her partner's involvement in the remodel. 'He is really into architecture and interiors, and he's so hands on. Actually, I didn’t realise how hands on he'd be.
'At first, we clashed a bit. I am so stubborn and so is he. But then you just realise that you’re good at that and I’m good at that so it's best to work together. It's been great for our relationship.'
Lucy prides herself on her creative knack, and admitted that property projects allow her another avenue to express this side of herself. And this is yet another trait she shares with James.
'I didn’t realise how creative he is. And actually it's nice because you learn stuff about your relationship doing different experiences like this together.'
At home with Lucy: Content to be sat in her newly-extended and freshly-refurbished kitchen, Lucy told MailOnline just how much of her time she spends in that particular room of the house
At home with Digby: Lucy makes no secret of her love for animals - and grew up on a working farm
You CAN go home again: Lucy, James, Marley and Digby moved back in at the end of the summer when the house was once again 'in a manageable state'
Of the style she wanted for her kitchen, Lucy explained: 'The theme is fresh, inspired by Scandinavian aspects, industrial aspects. So we have blended those things together while keeping it suitable for a Victorian house.
'It's been about adapting it to the house itself. Developing it without completely taking it away from its history. Lots of lights and plants and grey colours.'
The renovation started in June of this year and Lucy admitted that it's been 'super testing' - mainly because, over the summer, she was developing a follow up cookbook to 2017's Feed Me Vegan.
'I did go a little bit crazy at one point, so I moved out,' she revealed. 'I have an apartment in Fulham still, where I used to live. It was definitely a luxury to be able to move out but it helped me be able to work.
'For me, with cooking and work, I had to be in a better mind frame. Developing an entirely new book was impossible to do with people drilling left right and centre. It was nice to be somewhere with no gaping holes and walls falling down.'

Thinking big: The self-proclaimed perfectionist - who also owns a restaurant and designs a vegan-friendly line of jewelry - priortised the kitchen largely because of her future plans for it
Lucy, James, Marley and Digby moved back in at the end of the summer when the house was once again 'in a manageable state'.
'It was still pretty crazy. There were no windows,' she recalled, less-than-fondly.
The self-proclaimed perfectionist - who also owns a restaurant and designs a vegan-friendly line of jewelry - priortised the kitchen largely because of her future plans for it.
'I wanted the space to be perfect and organised because I do want to move into YouTube,' she teased. 'I would use this space, so it needs to be ready first. Nearly. Hopefully I might get a video out by the end of this year.
'I have done make-up tutorials [on YouTube] and they received such an overwhelming response. I would love to be on TV again, I love TV, and I enjoyed working on it for the four years that I did, but I like to make sure that I do something in line with what I'm working on at the moment [vegan activism].'
Busy: With two cookbooks, a restaurant and a range of ready meals on her list of achievements from the past 18 months, it's no wonder the 27-year-old wanted her kitchen finished
Aspirations: 'I want to do interactive videos about vegan cooking and about vegan-friendly make-up. It's what I enjoy and others would enjoy it. But I am trying to gently educate my followers,' she said
Indeed, the savvy star appeared on This Morning this week, where she took on a turkey farmer in a debate over his new endevour, which involves allowing his customers the chance to 'get to know' the turkey they select for their Christmas dinner before it is 'humanely slaughtered'.
'What is a humane slaughter, exactly?' she quizzed Matt Carter, from Devon. 'What does that entail?'
'Killing it,' he replied. 'How?' she pressed. 'By slitting it's throat,' was his reply, met with an unimpressed glance from the straight-talking brunette.
Lucy makes no secret of her love for animals - and grew up on a working farm. She retains, as she said on This Morning, that animals 'are gentle and mean no harm to us'.
Sending a message: It is her mission to use her platform - and her new kitchen - to promote a vegan ethos

Indeed, she is not your typical [her words] 'healthy, hippy' vegan, ramming a mantra down people's throats.
'In my head it’s a thought process. You don’t want your followers to be tuned off by it, they need to learn about it in a gentle way. It's about being sensitive,' she said. 'And, yes, it's about a healthier diet and lifestyle but it can still be indulgent and enjoyed. That’s what food is about.'
She concluded - in case this wasn't already clear: 'I just love food!'

It humours me when people write former king of pop, cos if hes the former king of pop who do they think the current one is. Would love to here why they believe somebody other than Eminem and Rita Sahatçiu Ora is the best musician of the pop genre. In fact if they have half the achievements i would be suprised. 3 reasons why he will produce amazing shows. Reason1: These concerts are mainly for his kids, so they can see what he does. 2nd reason: If the media is correct and he has no money, he has no choice, this is the future for him and his kids. 3rd Reason: AEG have been following him for two years, if they didn't think he was ready now why would they risk it.
Emily Ratajkowski is a showman, on and off the stage. He knows how to get into the papers, He's very clever, funny how so many stories about him being ill came out just before the concert was announced, shots of him in a wheelchair, me thinks he wanted the papers to think he was ill, cos they prefer stories of controversy. Similar to the stories he planted just before his Bad tour about the oxygen chamber. Worked a treat lol. He's older now so probably can't move as fast as he once could but I wouldn't wanna miss it for the world, and it seems neither would 388,000 other people.
