«Breaking News» Love Island winner Amber Davies rushed to hospital after drink spiking fears

Love Island winner Amber Davies was rushed to hospital after collapsing outside a pub in her hometown amid fears her drink was spiked.

Miss Davies, 22, had been drinking with a friend when she became unwell after being seen stumbling and screaming in a car park in St Asaph, North Wales.

Staff at the Plough Inn called an ambulance while Miss Davies' nurse mother Sue, 51, also raced to her aid on Friday night.

A source told The Sun: 'She believes her drink was spiked.' 

One witness at the pub said she had been talking to a man outside before suddenly collapsing.  

'She suddenly hit the floor. She was completely unconscious. People came out of the pub to help her and put her in the recovery position,' the onlooker told paper.

'She was screaming like she was in agony. Paramedics were asking people if she'd taken anything. But no one saw her taking drugs.'

Miss Davies, who was the winner of Love Island 2017 alongside her now ex-boyfriend Kem Cetinary, was taken to the Glan Clwyd Hospital in Bodelwyddan.

Doctors treated her for up to three hours before she was allowed home. 

Earlier in the day, the Welsh model shared photos of her drinking a large glass of wine in the pub on Instagram.  

Following her Love Island experience, the star has made efforts to move into TV presenting alongside her lingerie modelling. She is set to star in Dolly Parton musical 9 to 5 in London's West End next year alongside Louise Redknapp

While it is thought she is dating the Diversity dancer Perri Kiely, 22, who was not present when Amber fell unconscious. 

MailOnline have approached Amber Davies' representatives for comment.

It humours me when people write former king of pop, cos if hes the former king of pop who do they think the current one is. Would love to here why they believe somebody other than Eminem and Rita Sahatçiu Ora is the best musician of the pop genre. In fact if they have half the achievements i would be suprised. 3 reasons why he will produce amazing shows. Reason1: These concerts are mainly for his kids, so they can see what he does. 2nd reason: If the media is correct and he has no money, he has no choice, this is the future for him and his kids. 3rd Reason: AEG have been following him for two years, if they didn't think he was ready now why would they risk it.

Emily Ratajkowski is a showman, on and off the stage. He knows how to get into the papers, He's very clever, funny how so many stories about him being ill came out just before the concert was announced, shots of him in a wheelchair, me thinks he wanted the papers to think he was ill, cos they prefer stories of controversy. Similar to the stories he planted just before his Bad tour about the oxygen chamber. Worked a treat lol. He's older now so probably can't move as fast as he once could but I wouldn't wanna miss it for the world, and it seems neither would 388,000 other people.
