«Breaking News» Justin Timberlake and Jessica Biel sell lavish NYC penthouse for $6.35 million as they suffer a LOSS

Justin Timberlake and Jessica Biel have suffered a loss on their lavish New York penthouse after being forced to drop the price four times since listing the home in March this year.

The 37-year-old Grammy Award winning singer and his Hollywood heavyweight wife, 36, have now sold the three bedroom Soho Mews apartment for $6.35 million, yet purchased the pad for $6,567,713 in 2010.

The couple's $200,000 loss will no doubt come as a blow as they splashed out a cool $20 million last year for their new home down the road, a penthouse in the celeb-packed Greenwich Street in New York City, living alongside the likes of Harry Styles and Jennifer Lawrence.

The couple, who are the parents of three-year-old son Silas, initially put the 2,600-square-foot home up for sale for $7.995million in March, but dropped the price four times over seven months, for a total reduction of $1.5 million.

TMZ reports the pair first reduced the price of the property by $1 million last spring, in two separate $500,000 increments, then, in July, he slashed the asking price by another $245,000, bringing it down to $6.75 million.

Last month there was a $400,000 price reduction, bringing the asking price down to $6.35 million, which did the trick in shifting the property.

Whilst the pair won't be delighted with their $200,000 loss, the duo's finances won't take too much of a hit.

According to Celebrity Net Worth, Jessica's net worth is about $18 million (£13.6m) and she continues to make a steady stream of income through her various acting and producing roles, most recently starring in The Sinner.

Meanwhile, Justin is said to have a net worth of $230 million (£163m), and in 2015, he was the 19th highest-paid celebrity, according to Forbes.

Alongside his music, Justin has also generated income from his movie appearances. Between the years 2010-2013, the singer appeared in eight films, more films than Tom Cruise, Julia Roberts and Meryl Streep.

He also has several business ventures that include a clothing brand, William Rast; audio technology company, AfterMaster, of which he is a co-owner, and a tequila company, Sauza 901.

Justin's fame also led to several high-profile company endorsements and ad campaigns. He was the face of Givenchy in the late aughts and early 2010s and was named as the Creative Director for Bud Light in 2013.

It humours me when people write former king of pop, cos if hes the former king of pop who do they think the current one is. Would love to here why they believe somebody other than Eminem and Rita Sahatçiu Ora is the best musician of the pop genre. In fact if they have half the achievements i would be suprised. 3 reasons why he will produce amazing shows. Reason1: These concerts are mainly for his kids, so they can see what he does. 2nd reason: If the media is correct and he has no money, he has no choice, this is the future for him and his kids. 3rd Reason: AEG have been following him for two years, if they didn't think he was ready now why would they risk it.

Emily Ratajkowski is a showman, on and off the stage. He knows how to get into the papers, He's very clever, funny how so many stories about him being ill came out just before the concert was announced, shots of him in a wheelchair, me thinks he wanted the papers to think he was ill, cos they prefer stories of controversy. Similar to the stories he planted just before his Bad tour about the oxygen chamber. Worked a treat lol. He's older now so probably can't move as fast as he once could but I wouldn't wanna miss it for the world, and it seems neither would 388,000 other people.
