A bride who married in a lavish Chechen wedding in Moscow over the weekend needed 32 designer label bags and suitcases costing almost a quarter of a million pounds in which to fit her dowry, say reports.
Student Ayna Dzabrailova, 22, niece of controversial tycoon Umar Dzabrailov, wore two wedding dresses with an estimated price of £350,000.
Some 600 guests attended the nuptials and the bride was seen packing her dowry into 32 Louis Vuitton, Etro and Versace bags and suitcases which alone were reported to cost a staggering £230,000.
This was before the cost of the vast dowry itself. While it is unknown what is in the dowry it is thought that it was a selection of gifts rather than cash.

Apart from elite cosmetics, it was unclear what gifts she took from her family to new husband Haidar Sheripov, 26, a Chechen oil manager based in Moscow.
One wedding dress was the work of Lebanese fashion designer Zuhair Murad, which had originally had a semi-transparent skirt but the bride asked to change the lining.
On day two of the festivities she wore a dress from another Lebanese designer Elie Saab.
Ayna - also known as Alyona - wore jewellery from Britain's Graff along with a tiara from Dubai.
The wedding was held in line with Chechen traditions so there was no alcohol and the bride spent entire celebration standing, surrounded by her friends and sisters, according to reports in Moscow.
The bride arrived in Moscow with £230,000 worth of suitcases containing the dowry for her groom's family - it is unknown what gifts Ayna had in the suitcases

Ahead of the ceremony, she and her mother had been on shopping trips to Milan, Paris and Dubai.
The bride left her home in the afternoon when friends and family of the groom arrived to an elite village in Moscow region in 25 limousines.
The main party was held at elite Safisa restaurant in the city centre.
Despite the scale of the wedding, the bride kept her eyes downcast and wore a serious expression according to tradition which holds she must appear shy and modest.
The bride must keep her mouth shut because verbosity is seen as a sign of empty-headedness and immodesty. She can only offer the guests a drink of water and wish them all good health.
Her groom, Haidar, was absent from the ceremony as is traditional with Chechen weddings, only seeing his bride afterwards
In line with tradition Ayna is encouraged to look shy and modest at her wedding day, and spent the entire wedding standing with her mouth closed as verbosity is seen as a sign of 'empty-headedness'

She is allocated a special place at the event in which to stand, but does not take part in the dancing, where men and women must not get too close.
Throughout the day she is introduced to new relatives and can only sit down when granted permission.
According to tradition, the groom should be absent from the ceremony entirely, meeting his bride after the festivities away from prying eyes with Ayna escorted by her brother up until that point.
She is then seated by a window where guests of honour usually sit. This part of the room is decorated with a special wedding curtain. The girl is offered to hold someone's firstborn son (she will hopefully give birth to many boys.) The bride hugs the baby and gives him a present.
Guests give various things to the newlyweds. Women give them useful things for the home such as linen or crockery. Men bring either money or sheep. And then, everyone is invited to partake of a sumptuous meal.
Once the meal is over, guests ask the bride to give them a drink of water. All of them talk amongst themselves, share jokes and discuss the bride's looks.
Ayna's uncle Umar Dzhabrailov, 60, a controversial tycoon and ex-Moscow senator, was fined £5,800 last year after he shot a Yarygin pistol in the air at the Four Seasons Hotel, close to the Kremlin.

Umar - once linked to Naomi Campbell - admitting to being quizzed 'a hundred times' by Russian secret services over the 1996 shooting of his American business partner, Paul Tatum, in a Moscow subway.
The contract killing was one off the most controversial murders of the wild 1990s in Moscow, following the collapse of the Soviet Union.
He always denied having anything to do with the killing.
Dzhabrailov and Tatum jointly ran the Radisson Slavyanskaya Hotel in Moscow.
In the wake of the shooting, he was banned from travelling to the US.
Umar was reputed to be the role model for a Chechen godfather in Frederick Forsyth's novel, Icon.

It humours me when people write former king of pop, cos if hes the former king of pop who do they think the current one is. Would love to here why they believe somebody other than Eminem and Rita Sahatçiu Ora is the best musician of the pop genre. In fact if they have half the achievements i would be suprised. 3 reasons why he will produce amazing shows. Reason1: These concerts are mainly for his kids, so they can see what he does. 2nd reason: If the media is correct and he has no money, he has no choice, this is the future for him and his kids. 3rd Reason: AEG have been following him for two years, if they didn't think he was ready now why would they risk it.
Emily Ratajkowski is a showman, on and off the stage. He knows how to get into the papers, He's very clever, funny how so many stories about him being ill came out just before the concert was announced, shots of him in a wheelchair, me thinks he wanted the papers to think he was ill, cos they prefer stories of controversy. Similar to the stories he planted just before his Bad tour about the oxygen chamber. Worked a treat lol. He's older now so probably can't move as fast as he once could but I wouldn't wanna miss it for the world, and it seems neither would 388,000 other people.
