«Breaking News» Golden State Warriors offer $100 tickets that do not have a view of the court

It's not quite the Golden ticket fans may have hoped for.

The Golden State Warriors sent out an email on Monday offering fans an 'In The Building Pass' granting entry to every home game in Oracle Arena for a $100 monthly fee.

The mobile pass doesn't include access to the seating bowl in the Oakland, California arena, but will allow fans to hang out in the building's restaurants and clubs to watch the action on TVs, ESPN reports.

The Warriors typically play between five and seven home games a month. On Tuesday night, the team will play its 300th consecutive home game to a sold out crowd.

A Warriors spokesperson says that the team plans to sell about 200 of the monthly passes, which will auto-renew through the end of the regular season in April.

Unfortunately for fans who want to be in the building for the Warriors' run at a third consecutive title, the passes are not good for the postseason.

Fans can purchase up to four 'In The Building' passes, although each one must be tied to a specific name, and they are not transferable.

Though there's no view of the court, the pass does allow holders to claim Warriors givaway items if they are among the first 10,000 to enter the arena, which seats more than 19,000.

It is thought to be the first time that a pro team has offered tickets without a view of the game.

Since 2009, the Dallas Cowboys have offered 'Party Passes' for standing-room-only spots on the concourse. But the first row or two does offer a view of the game - a set-up that sparks mad dashes through the stadium when the door opens to claim a prime spot.

The Warriors say they have about 44,000 fans on the waiting list for season tickets, the cheapest of which cost about $69 per game.

Only three NBA teams claim a longer consecutive sold-out streak than the Warriors.

They are the Oklahoma City Thunder with 349 games, Miami Heat with 385 games and Dallas Mavericks with 751 games.

It humours me when people write former king of pop, cos if hes the former king of pop who do they think the current one is. Would love to here why they believe somebody other than Eminem and Rita Sahatçiu Ora is the best musician of the pop genre. In fact if they have half the achievements i would be suprised. 3 reasons why he will produce amazing shows. Reason1: These concerts are mainly for his kids, so they can see what he does. 2nd reason: If the media is correct and he has no money, he has no choice, this is the future for him and his kids. 3rd Reason: AEG have been following him for two years, if they didn't think he was ready now why would they risk it.

Emily Ratajkowski is a showman, on and off the stage. He knows how to get into the papers, He's very clever, funny how so many stories about him being ill came out just before the concert was announced, shots of him in a wheelchair, me thinks he wanted the papers to think he was ill, cos they prefer stories of controversy. Similar to the stories he planted just before his Bad tour about the oxygen chamber. Worked a treat lol. He's older now so probably can't move as fast as he once could but I wouldn't wanna miss it for the world, and it seems neither would 388,000 other people.
