A documentary celebrating the 30th anniversary of This Morning has revealed the moment some very famous faces made their debut on the hit daytime show.
This Morning – 30 Unforgettable Years, which airs on ITV tomorrow night, features a fresh-faced Simon Cowell making his debut in 1999, alongside Kate Thornton to audition hopefuls for a new boyband.
Among their number was Will Young, who would win Pop Idol two years later, and 16-year-old Lee Ryan who later became a member of Blue.
'This was my first time on TV. Based on that I decided it would be my last appearance on TV. I didn't like doing it at all,' he said.
'I don't know why I did the show and I've deleted it from my memory.'
The programme also features chefs Jamie Oliver and John Torode and Coronation Street's Kym Marsh making their first appearances.

Richard Madeley and Judy Finnigan during the first ever broadcast of This Morning from Liverpool in 1988
This Morning was first fronted by husband-and-wife team Richard Madeley and Judy Finnigan who presented the first show on October 3rd 1998 from Albert Dock, Liverpool.
During the first moments, they told viewers to look forward to features on cooking and gardening and financial management, but the show became more risqué as time went on.
In 1998 couples were invited on the show to test Viagra, prompting Judy to cheekily suggest: 'Let’s see what comes up.'
Three years later the presenters sent couples to a hotel to test out sexual stimulants for women.
Then known as the Naked Chef, a young Jamie Oliver appeared on the show as he was making a name for himself in the early 2000s
Masterchef's John Torode was This Morning's resident chef back in 1999 when he was 34-years-old
Fern Britton became host alongside John Leslie in 2002, and in the documentary she recalls the moment she heard he was being dropped from the show when he was photographed by a newspaper apparently taking cocaine.
He was replaced by Phillip who was joined by Holly in 2009 after working together presenting Dancing On Ice.
Holly says that when she first started, taking over from Phillip’s sidekick of seven years, she was aware there were those who didn’t think she was experienced enough for the cut-and-thrust of a daily show.
‘There was a sense that I’d be fine on fashion and fluffy stuff, but people were saying, “What will she do when she has to interview the Prime Minister?”’
Holly and Phil have reigned supreme on the sofa for the best part of a decade after Ms Willoughby took over from Fern Britton in 2009
Will Young made his This Morning debut in 1999, two years before he went on to win Pop Idol, during an audition for a new boyband with Simon Cowell
Lee Ryan, who went on to star in Blue, was on the show as a 16-year-old boyband hopeful in 1999
Imagine her horror then when the Prime Minister did come on, in her first week. ‘I think it was day three,’ she says. ‘I remember panicking.
'I mean I’m interested in politics, but I’m not Jeremy Paxman, and I never claimed to be. But Phil calmed me down, saying I had to just be myself.’
For his part, Phil credits Holly with reigning in his more impulsive side, telling the documentary she is 'more diplomatic' than him.
'I am possibly slightly fierier and she calms me down a bit. Holly taught me a very early lesson – which was do not respond to everyone who annoys you on Twitter.
Meanwhile Holly credits Phil with being a great teacher, saying: 'I just learnt so much from him and continue to do so.

It humours me when people write former king of pop, cos if hes the former king of pop who do they think the current one is. Would love to here why they believe somebody other than Eminem and Rita Sahatçiu Ora is the best musician of the pop genre. In fact if they have half the achievements i would be suprised. 3 reasons why he will produce amazing shows. Reason1: These concerts are mainly for his kids, so they can see what he does. 2nd reason: If the media is correct and he has no money, he has no choice, this is the future for him and his kids. 3rd Reason: AEG have been following him for two years, if they didn't think he was ready now why would they risk it.
Emily Ratajkowski is a showman, on and off the stage. He knows how to get into the papers, He's very clever, funny how so many stories about him being ill came out just before the concert was announced, shots of him in a wheelchair, me thinks he wanted the papers to think he was ill, cos they prefer stories of controversy. Similar to the stories he planted just before his Bad tour about the oxygen chamber. Worked a treat lol. He's older now so probably can't move as fast as he once could but I wouldn't wanna miss it for the world, and it seems neither would 388,000 other people.
