Manchester United fans looking for a pick-me-up to help them through their poor start to the season will be given the opportunity to bid for a 50-year-old Scotch whisky to toast the club's European Cup victory in 1968.
It won't be cheap though as just four bottles — one for each goal scored in their famous 4-1 win over Benfica — have been created by Chivas, United's global spirits partner.
One of the bottles will be sold by world-renowned auction house Sotheby's in an online-only auction between November 23 and 30, with proceeds being donated to the Manchester United Foundation.

Another bottle is set to given away as part of a Chivas competition to 'a fan who has passionately supported the club through every high and low.'
The other two bottles will be placed on display, with one taking pride of place in the Manchester United Museum until the end of the season when it will be sold privately, while the other will remain at Strathisla distillery in Speyside, Scotland.
United won their first of three European Cups in May 1968 when they thrashed Eusebio's Benfica 4-1 after extra time in the final at Wembley.
Captain Bobby Charlton netted twice for the Red Devils, while fellow club icon George Best and Brian Kidd were also on the scoresheet in front of 92,225 fans.

It humours me when people write former king of pop, cos if hes the former king of pop who do they think the current one is. Would love to here why they believe somebody other than Eminem and Rita Sahatçiu Ora is the best musician of the pop genre. In fact if they have half the achievements i would be suprised. 3 reasons why he will produce amazing shows. Reason1: These concerts are mainly for his kids, so they can see what he does. 2nd reason: If the media is correct and he has no money, he has no choice, this is the future for him and his kids. 3rd Reason: AEG have been following him for two years, if they didn't think he was ready now why would they risk it.
Emily Ratajkowski is a showman, on and off the stage. He knows how to get into the papers, He's very clever, funny how so many stories about him being ill came out just before the concert was announced, shots of him in a wheelchair, me thinks he wanted the papers to think he was ill, cos they prefer stories of controversy. Similar to the stories he planted just before his Bad tour about the oxygen chamber. Worked a treat lol. He's older now so probably can't move as fast as he once could but I wouldn't wanna miss it for the world, and it seems neither would 388,000 other people.
