«Breaking News» 'Cider addict’ barmaid sheds SIX stone with hypnosis treatment

A cider-loving barmaid is unrecognisable after shedding six stone through a pioneering weight loss treatment.

Fast food aficionado Laura Lindores, 32, from Ruislip, west London, used to hide in baggy black jumpers before deciding to overhaul her boozy lifestyle for good.

The former 'chip addict' now has old photos of herself before she lost weight stuck on her walls and uses them to motivate her to stay slim - even talking to them and promising her former self she won't go there again.

It is a technique she learned after implementing 'fatnosis' techniques with the help of TV weight loss expert Steve Miller.

In her previous job as a barmaid, Laura found herself scoffing most of the pub menu every lunchtime, swapping dinner for rounds of cider and calorific shots.

A plate of oven chips would serve as dinner when she got home from the pub or she would end up eating out at pizza restaurants and other fast food chains.

But when Laura started a new job working with a homeless charity, she realised she needed to set a healthy example to clients to inspire them to be healthy.

Since starting her weight loss journey in her mid-twenties she has dropped six and a half stone and has gone from a size 18 to a slender size 8.

She credits Steve Miller's simple 'eat less, move more' Fatnosis ethos as the key factor in losing her pounds and keeping them off.

She said: 'I was always the chubby kid at school and always remember wishing I could fit into the pretty dresses like the rest of my group of friends.

'I just wanted to be like everyone else and look nice, my confidence was at a real low growing up so I never used to even think about picking nice outfits to wear, the goal was always to find clothes that just hid the fat.

'I boozed and ate my way through college like many students do which didn't help the problem of my weight and by my late teens I was overweight, depressed and started an unhealthy relationship with a controlling ex.

'After years of feeling worthless and comfort eating, I broke free in my early to mid-twenties and started living life for myself. I decided that I wasn't happy and I wanted to do something about it, to regain control of my life and live it to the full.

'I started working with the homeless which meant I was on my feet all the time helping others and I realised that I needed to set a good example for people in need and inspire them to be healthy.

'They were by no means overweight, but I was and I wanted to be a picture of health and be someone they could look up to.'

Speaking about her transformation, she added: 'One of the best things about losing weight is being able to wear what I want, I no longer walk into stores and look for the baggiest shirt to hideaway in, I find the prettiest fitted dress and I think 'yes I'll look great in this one'.

'In my moments of weakness, I look to my old fat photos and think 'don't worry I won't let you get back to that, I'm looking after you'.

Speaking about her incredible transformation, Laura said: 'My goal one day would be to inspire others and help them with their weight loss, and having gone through that journey I will be able to understand and help them'

'I'm so pleased I did things the proper way, with no diet powders and magic pills – just hard work and consistent healthy eating and exercise.

'If I could go back now to my fat days I wouldn't take a magic pill, I've enjoyed the journey and it reminds me of who I was and who I am today.

'My goal one day would be to inspire others and help them with their weight loss, and having gone through that journey I will be able to understand and help them.'

Weight loss expert Steve Miller created the Fatnosis programme. He said: 'I'm so proud of Laura. She's embraced Fatnosis and the tough love we dish out has worked so well for her.

'The obesity problem in the UK is a ticking time bomb. All the softly-softly approaches have failed and I'm proving that by telling people how it is, stripping away the lies and being brutally honest, people are shedding those excess pounds.'

The former ‘chip ...

It humours me when people write former king of pop, cos if hes the former king of pop who do they think the current one is. Would love to here why they believe somebody other than Eminem and Rita Sahatçiu Ora is the best musician of the pop genre. In fact if they have half the achievements i would be suprised. 3 reasons why he will produce amazing shows. Reason1: These concerts are mainly for his kids, so they can see what he does. 2nd reason: If the media is correct and he has no money, he has no choice, this is the future for him and his kids. 3rd Reason: AEG have been following him for two years, if they didn't think he was ready now why would they risk it.

Emily Ratajkowski is a showman, on and off the stage. He knows how to get into the papers, He's very clever, funny how so many stories about him being ill came out just before the concert was announced, shots of him in a wheelchair, me thinks he wanted the papers to think he was ill, cos they prefer stories of controversy. Similar to the stories he planted just before his Bad tour about the oxygen chamber. Worked a treat lol. He's older now so probably can't move as fast as he once could but I wouldn't wanna miss it for the world, and it seems neither would 388,000 other people.
