«Breaking News» Ben Affleck looks in good spirits as he puffs on cigarette during outing with male pals after rehab

He's spent a month receiving treatment for alcohol addiction at a rehab facility in Malibu.

But Ben Affleck is keen to get back to normal life and on Monday, was seen enjoying an outing with a couple of male pals.

The actor and director, 46, seemed in good spirits as he strolled along with a lit cigarette in one hand and a paper beverage cup in the other.

Ben looked casually smart in a Varsity jacket over a t-shirt and gray jeans paired with white sneakers.

He wore a baseball cap pulled down over his hair.

During his rehab stay, he was regularly allowed to return home to work out and is sporting a buff and rather chiseled physique as a result.

He was also spotted late last week arriving at Warner Bros. Studios in LA clutching a script giving rise to rumors that he will, after all, reprise his role as Batman next year.

On Sunday, the Argo Oscar winner had attended church with his ex-wife Jennifer Garner and their three children - daughters Violet, 12, and Seraphina, nine, and son Samuel, six.

It was Jennifer who staged an intervention and drove Ben to rehab in August and she has been supporting him as he focuses on sobriety.

Not seen Monday was Shauna Sexton, the 22-year-old Playboy model Ben was seen with right before he entered treatment.

Sexton has been a regular visitor to see him in rehab and his home the past month and she has been driving his SUV while he's been in the residential center.

His squeeze: Not seen Monday was Shauna Sexton, the 22-year-old Playboy model Ben has been spending time with, starting from before he went into rehab

Meanwhile, a source told Entertainment Tonight last Thursday that Ben's relationship with Shauna is a bone of contention with his loved ones.

'A big concern by Ben's friends is his decision to keep seeing Shauna,' the source said. 'They're still very much together and Ben talks to her every day, and sees her most days.'

'Jen is treading very lightly and trying to express her concerns,' claimed Entertainment Tonight's source. 'It's very hard for anyone who is close to Ben to trust Shauna because they don't know her and she seemed to come out of nowhere.'

'The one thing everyone knows is Shauna is not sober, she is incredibly young, and she came into Ben's life at his lowest point,' the source added. 'They wish that Ben would hold off on a relationship for now.' 

Supportive ex: Jennifer is reported to have expressed concerns about Ben engaging in a new romance while also trying to focus on sobriety but is 'treading very lightly,' a source claimed

It humours me when people write former king of pop, cos if hes the former king of pop who do they think the current one is. Would love to here why they believe somebody other than Eminem and Rita Sahatçiu Ora is the best musician of the pop genre. In fact if they have half the achievements i would be suprised. 3 reasons why he will produce amazing shows. Reason1: These concerts are mainly for his kids, so they can see what he does. 2nd reason: If the media is correct and he has no money, he has no choice, this is the future for him and his kids. 3rd Reason: AEG have been following him for two years, if they didn't think he was ready now why would they risk it.

Emily Ratajkowski is a showman, on and off the stage. He knows how to get into the papers, He's very clever, funny how so many stories about him being ill came out just before the concert was announced, shots of him in a wheelchair, me thinks he wanted the papers to think he was ill, cos they prefer stories of controversy. Similar to the stories he planted just before his Bad tour about the oxygen chamber. Worked a treat lol. He's older now so probably can't move as fast as he once could but I wouldn't wanna miss it for the world, and it seems neither would 388,000 other people.
