«Breaking News» Report reveals grisly details of mother and daughters' death

A harrowing report has shed new light on the discovery of a mother and her two teenage daughters who died in a luxury Texas mansion.

Nichol Leila Olsen, 37, was found dead on January 10 in her boyfriend's home on the outskirts of San Antonio, along with her two young daughters.

According to a report, deputies responded to the luxury home in the 11300 block of Anaqua Springs at about 9am.

They found Charles Wheeler, the owner of the house and Olsen's boyfriend, crying on the ground in the front yard.

However the report from Bexar County Sheriff's Office notes deputies did not notice 'any tears on his face.'

Inside, officers found Nichol Olsen, and her two young daughters, Alexa Montez, 16, and London Bribiescas, 10.

Olsen, a local hairstylist, died from a gunshot wound to the head. Her death was ruled a suicide by the Bexar County Medical Examiner’s office, San Antonio Express-News reported earlier this week.

But Olsen’s friends and family have flatly rejected that ruling, insisting she would never harm herself or her children, according to San Antonio Express-News.

The children’s deaths were ruled as murders. Montez died from a gunshot wound to the head, while Bribiescas died from a gunshot wound to her head and neck, the medical examiner’s office said Thursday.

All three were found shot to death on the second floor of the home and according to the report, and all three were 'cold and rigid to the touch.'

The report stated that Wheeler told the responding officer he had an argument with Olsen the previous night at around 10pm.

He then left the house in his white 2013 Ford pickup and stayed the night at a friend's house. Wheeler said he tried to call the three women  all night 'and none of them answered him.'

He then returned to the house the next morning and parked his pickup in the garage. Wheeler went into the house and found them all dead upstairs with gunshot wounds.

The names of Olsen's daughters are redacted in the report, so it remains unclear exactly where each body was found.

Deputies found 'a large amount of smeared blood on the floor and some on the walls' according to the report, as well as a 'small pool of blood' in a bathroom doorway.

According to the report, deputies then took Wheeler in for an interview.

The original incident report does not categorize it as a murder-suicide, but it does state 'suicide' under an 'incident type' heading.

Sheriff Javier Salazar later told the San Antonio Express-News that Wheeler was a 'person of interest' in the case, but emphasized he is not a suspect at this time.

Investigators are still working to verify Wheeler’s whereabouts during the time period in question.

'We’re not necessarily doubting him or calling him a liar at this point,' Salazar told the San Antonio Express-News.

'What we are doing is trying to verify or refute that independently… Cell phone tower records are probably going to be one of the big determining factors of that. Chances are wherever he was, he continued to use his cell phone.

Wheeler is represented by three defense attorneys: Therese Huntzinger, Patrick Hancock and Mark Stevens.

They have maintained their client's innocence and condemned any accusations against him.

'What we would ask is that people not jump to conclusions, that they not demonize this young man who does not deserve it, that they let the professionals do their jobs and complete this investigation.

'And respect the privacy of presumptively innocent people and of Charlie Wheeler, who did not commit a crime here.'

Wheeler had been romantically involved with Olsen for around two years. She had been living with him in his home for the past year, friends said at a candlelight vigil Wednesday night.

A handgun was found in close proximity to Olsen’s body, he said. No suicide note was found.

Olsen’s hands also were tested for any traces of gunshot residue, Salazar said. Investigators haven’t yet received those test results.

DailyMail.com revealed earlier this month that the sheriff is waiting for cell phone data to verify Mr. Wheeler's alibi and that other key pieces of evidence - such as neighborhood surveillance footage that would document the hours before the bodies were found - has been difficult to come by.

Salazar and his detectives are also operating under the theory that all three women may have been killed by someone who is on 'no one's radar' and who is slipping further out of reach with every passing minute without new information.

Speaking to DailyMail.com last weekend, he said: 'This case is far from over... I wish it was like TV and you could solve it in an hour. It just doesn't work like that.

'I wish they could have wrapped this case up for the closure of the family.'

Olsen had at least three children, including a college-age son. Salazar was unable to say who owned the handgun found near Olsen’s body.

The crux of the mystery lies in the medical examiner's now widely-contested ruling that Nichol committed suicide.

The medical examiner's office has not released any records to support its finding.

Sheriff Salazar has not seen a piece of paper yet that states more than cause or manner of death and the lack of narrative which could explain such a theory is proving frustrating.

'The medical examiner believes it’s a suicide based on what they saw. They have a more limited evidence bank to pick from.

'I have forensics and the crime scene and witness interviews and phone records and everything.

'In some cases, when the ME rules suicide, there are other corroborating things. But in this instance, I don't have that.

'There’s a common misconception - people say ‘Who was it registered to?’ In Texas, we don’t register guns,' he said.

He asked anyone with information about the case or the people involved to contact the sheriff’s office by calling 210-335-6070 .

'We’re not going to stop digging until we’ve exhausted all leads in this case ... We want to get to the truth,' Salazar said.

Wheeler’s attorney said the medical examiner’s determination that Olsen died by her own hand is significant.

'It being a suicide is frankly absolutely inconsistent with criminal culpability of another person,' Stevens said.

Olsen worked as a hairstylist at Salons by JC on the North Side. Montez was a sophomore at Clark High School, while Bribiescas was a fifth grader at Leon Springs Elementary School.

Olsen has been twice divorced, in 1998 and 2006, court records show.

In March of 2014, she was charged with a domestic assault. The case was dropped when the witness failed to appear in court, however.

Friends of Olsen who don’t believe she committed suicide have established a GoFundMe page called 'Searching for the Truth' to help fund further investigation.

Their fundraising goal is $50,000. Contributors had already donated more than $6,500 one hour after the page was established Thursday.

According ...

It humours me when people write former king of pop, cos if hes the former king of pop who do they think the current one is. Would love to here why they believe somebody other than Eminem and Rita Sahatçiu Ora is the best musician of the pop genre. In fact if they have half the achievements i would be suprised. 3 reasons why he will produce amazing shows. Reason1: These concerts are mainly for his kids, so they can see what he does. 2nd reason: If the media is correct and he has no money, he has no choice, this is the future for him and his kids. 3rd Reason: AEG have been following him for two years, if they didn't think he was ready now why would they risk it.

Emily Ratajkowski is a showman, on and off the stage. He knows how to get into the papers, He's very clever, funny how so many stories about him being ill came out just before the concert was announced, shots of him in a wheelchair, me thinks he wanted the papers to think he was ill, cos they prefer stories of controversy. Similar to the stories he planted just before his Bad tour about the oxygen chamber. Worked a treat lol. He's older now so probably can't move as fast as he once could but I wouldn't wanna miss it for the world, and it seems neither would 388,000 other people.
