«Breaking News» Ohio Sonic workers abandon their restaurant and post 'the whole store quit' sign

Ohio Sonic workers have abandoned ship after their restaurants were sold to new owners.

Customers that visited their local Sonic in Circleville, Ohio said they were shocked to be greeted by a handwritten note taped to the restaurant’s front door saying 'the whole store has quit'.

'Warning: Due to terrible management, the whole store has quit. The company has been sold to people that don’t give a f*uck about anyone but themselves,' the letter that was shared on social media said.

'Sorry for the inconvenience, but our team refuses to work for a company that treats their employees like s**t when they have put everything into this story,' it added.

The note was signed 'F**K YOU. Sincerely, ex-Sonic crew'.

The incident took place at the Circleville location and it turns out they weren’t alone. The entire staff at the Grove City and Lancaster Sonics also quit, according to the Scioto Post.

The Lancaster location bid adieu to the restaurant by posting a sign that said: 'Goodbye and Thank you'.

They also printed out an email from the restaurant’s previous owners then smeared them as 'the most trashiest company we have ever seen'.

According to the Post, the Sonic locations' ownership was sold to SRI Operating Company, which is an affiliate of Sonic that operates its restaurants.

'Circleville, Lancaster, and Grove City crews have all walked out and quit after the franchise was bought out by corporate,' the source said.

'The regional director, two district managers and four general managers have all been let go. All of which have been working for the company in management for 7+ years,' the source added.

Not only is the new ownership shaking up Ohio Sonic employees, but the new ownership allegedly cut the in-restaurant workers' pay from minimum or 'near-minimum' wage to tipped employee wages at approximately $4.00/hr.

Eight Sonic locations were involved in the new management takeover, all of which will be reopening on Monday with the new ownership.

Two other Sonic restaurants in the area are closing permanently.

Sonic released a statement in light of the new man agent.

'Under new management, guests and the community can look forward to improved service and the famous food, beverages and treats for which SONIC is known,' a Sonic spokesperson told WSYX.

'Employees working for the local drive-in can look forward to fun, fast-paced work on which they can build a career, if they choose. Most current employees will have the opportunity to continue to work at the drive-in under the new ownership,' the statement added.

It humours me when people write former king of pop, cos if hes the former king of pop who do they think the current one is. Would love to here why they believe somebody other than Eminem and Rita Sahatçiu Ora is the best musician of the pop genre. In fact if they have half the achievements i would be suprised. 3 reasons why he will produce amazing shows. Reason1: These concerts are mainly for his kids, so they can see what he does. 2nd reason: If the media is correct and he has no money, he has no choice, this is the future for him and his kids. 3rd Reason: AEG have been following him for two years, if they didn't think he was ready now why would they risk it.

Emily Ratajkowski is a showman, on and off the stage. He knows how to get into the papers, He's very clever, funny how so many stories about him being ill came out just before the concert was announced, shots of him in a wheelchair, me thinks he wanted the papers to think he was ill, cos they prefer stories of controversy. Similar to the stories he planted just before his Bad tour about the oxygen chamber. Worked a treat lol. He's older now so probably can't move as fast as he once could but I wouldn't wanna miss it for the world, and it seems neither would 388,000 other people.
