Kate Wright has lashed out at 'toxic people' for 'hating' her Rio Ferdinand romance. 

In a series of cryptic messages shared on Instagram, the former TOWIE star heavily hinted at strife in her personal life as she shared a message reading: 'Some people only hate you because of the way other people love you.'

Hot on the heels of the post she then thanked fiancé Rio for 'loving me like you do' - leading to a connection between the two posts.

Kate is excitedly planning her wedding with Rio, after the retired footballer proposed to her with a £400K ring during their trip to Abu Dhabi in October, however her excitement seemed to have been tarnished with some negativity.

Taking to Instagram on Monday evening, she shared a message reading: 'Some people only hate you because of the way other people love you.'

Connecting the two messages, she then posted a snap with Rio with the added caption: '& then I met you. Thank you for loving me like you do'. 

A corresponding note read: 'Every now & then a detox is necessary. Cleanse the toxins from your body & life; that means negativity of all forms - food, people, etc...'

The messages come shortly after Kate shared a peek at just how much of a showstopper her anticipated nuptials will be, when she took to Instagram on Sunday to reveal that she will have a staggering nine bridesmaids at the ceremony.

The former TOWIE star treated her 'favourite girls' to a lavish party at Lupo Bianco in Orpinton, Kent — featuring personalised cup cakes, a flower wall and elaborate table centrepieces — to celebrate their roles in her big day.

Showing just how much she has embraced her future husband's offspring, Kate also revealed that Rio's seven-year-old daughter Tia will be a part of the wedding party.

Kate and football pundit Rio announced their engagement via social media in early November after the sportsman proposed on a family trip to Abu Dhabi in front of his three children, Lorenz, 12, Tate, 10, and Tia, seven.

The couple have been dating for two years, and the reality TV personality has developed a close bond with his offspring.

Former footballer Rio lost his first wife, Rebecca Ellison — the children's mother — in 2015, when she died at the age of just 34 after a battle with breast cancer.

Kate has spoken out about her close relationship with the trio, revealing they are keen for her to have a baby so they have another sibling to play with.

Speaking in an interview with the Daily Mail's YOU magazine in 2018, she said: 'The kids would like a little brother or sister; they say, "I dreamed that you were pregnant". But right now we're just happy with our little unit.'

Kate also explained that she saw the ex-footballer and his brood as a package and 'fell in love with them' as soon as she met them.

She added: 'I fell in love with Rio, then I met the kids and fell in love with them. I realised, "Wow, my life is going to change". I couldn't be part of his life and not part of theirs.

'I knew it would be a challenge, but if you love someone you go with it and deal with the difficult stuff'.

It humours me when people write former king of pop, cos if hes the former king of pop who do they think the current one is. Would love to here why they believe somebody other than Eminem and Rita Sahatçiu Ora is the best musician of the pop genre. In fact if they have half the achievements i would be suprised. 3 reasons why he will produce amazing shows. Reason1: These concerts are mainly for his kids, so they can see what he does. 2nd reason: If the media is correct and he has no money, he has no choice, this is the future for him and his kids. 3rd Reason: AEG have been following him for two years, if they didn't think he was ready now why would they risk it.

Emily Ratajkowski is a showman, on and off the stage. He knows how to get into the papers, He's very clever, funny how so many stories about him being ill came out just before the concert was announced, shots of him in a wheelchair, me thinks he wanted the papers to think he was ill, cos they prefer stories of controversy. Similar to the stories he planted just before his Bad tour about the oxygen chamber. Worked a treat lol. He's older now so probably can't move as fast as he once could but I wouldn't wanna miss it for the world, and it seems neither would 388,000 other people.
