A new cover story has given supermodel Gigi Hadid the rare opportunity to pose for her first photoshoot with celebrated photographer Peter Lindbergh.
Hadid, 23, has collaborated with the German, famed for his highly cinematic images, for the very first time on behalf of Vogue Arabia's second anniversary - with predictably dramatic results.
In the first of six photos - including two cover images - Gigi smoulders as she poses in a sweeping Ashi Studio Couture dress adorned with tasteful cream flourishes and embellishments.

Gigi Hadid is the cover star of Vogue Arabia’s March publication, which marks two years since the launch of the first edition.
The celebratory spread sees the supermodel donning an array of lavish outfits, photographed by Peter Lindbergh.

Behind her, the glimmering lights of the city at twilight provide an added touch of drama as she leans against an enormous high-rise window, her outfit completed with Yohji Yamamoto boots and Maison Fabre gloves.
In a second image Hadid appears from the shadows, her striking features accentuated by dusky eye-shadow and rich red lipstick as she offers the camera a coquettish glance.

The shoot marks familiar ground for Gigi, who is posing for her second cover for Vogue Arabia and her 37th Vogue cover in total.
But she insists the incredible success shared by Gigi and supermodel sister Bella relates to hard work and determination, rather than the social standing of their parents - wealthy real-estate developer Mohamed Hadid and his ex-wife, Real Housewives of Beverly Hills star Yolanda Hadid.
'A lot of people make assumptions about my family, but our childhood wasn’t "Hollywood,"' she told Vogue Arabia Editor-in-Chief Manuel Arnaut.

'My parents never made their success an excuse for me, I always knew that after high school I was expected to work towards supporting myself, so I never put all my eggs in the modeling basket.'
Currently dating former One Direction star Zayn Malik, Hadid also credits her mixed American-Palestinian heritage for making her the well-rounded person she has become.
She added: 'Being Arab has influenced me to be open and loving of all backgrounds, realizing that being more of one thing doesn’t make you less of something else.'

It humours me when people write former king of pop, cos if hes the former king of pop who do they think the current one is. Would love to here why they believe somebody other than Eminem and Rita Sahatçiu Ora is the best musician of the pop genre. In fact if they have half the achievements i would be suprised. 3 reasons why he will produce amazing shows. Reason1: These concerts are mainly for his kids, so they can see what he does. 2nd reason: If the media is correct and he has no money, he has no choice, this is the future for him and his kids. 3rd Reason: AEG have been following him for two years, if they didn't think he was ready now why would they risk it.
Emily Ratajkowski is a showman, on and off the stage. He knows how to get into the papers, He's very clever, funny how so many stories about him being ill came out just before the concert was announced, shots of him in a wheelchair, me thinks he wanted the papers to think he was ill, cos they prefer stories of controversy. Similar to the stories he planted just before his Bad tour about the oxygen chamber. Worked a treat lol. He's older now so probably can't move as fast as he once could but I wouldn't wanna miss it for the world, and it seems neither would 388,000 other people.
