«Breaking News» Disneyland California fans hit out at the park for REMOVING benches

Disneyland is reportedly taking away benches and seats for visitors in a bid to help with 'guest flow'.

Fans who are regular visitors to the California theme park say they have noticed fixed seating being quietly removed over recent months.

And some have voiced their anger to the press and on social media about it.

They believe it is preparation for the bumper crowds that are expected to flock to the park when the new Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge opens next summer. 

But concerns over the well-being of seniors, children and those less able to move - especially in soaring temperatures - have been raised.

Debbie Sinclair, a Disneyland annual pass holder, told the OC Register: 'It's getting harder and harder to sit down in the shade and relax.

'I’m really bummed about it, because I have bad knees and ankles. It’s turning into Magic Mountain that’s all concrete as far as I’m concerned.'

Some also took to Twitter, with Tonia B writing: 'WHY?? To get more people into your already overcrowded parks. What about seniors, disabled and small children that need to rest?'

Reirari added: 'Yo disabled Twitter, @Disneyland is taking away seating. Be safe out there!'

Disney fans took to Twitter to hit out at the decision to take away seating in the main theme park 

While Barb tweeted: Has @WaltDisneyWorld considered the fact that multi generation families visit and sometimes I need to park the older people for a while with a snack or drink?

'Or the kids need to sit? Six-year-olds love sitting on the benches, eating a dole whip.'

It is believed that the overall seat numbers will be brought back up to present levels by installing more seats in on-site restaurants.  

A Disneyland spokesman told MailOnline Travel: 'We continually strive to deliver a great guest experience, and we are always looking at ways to enhance elements such as guest flow, seating, and landscaping, which play an important part of a guest’s visit to the parks.'

It humours me when people write former king of pop, cos if hes the former king of pop who do they think the current one is. Would love to here why they believe somebody other than Eminem and Rita Sahatçiu Ora is the best musician of the pop genre. In fact if they have half the achievements i would be suprised. 3 reasons why he will produce amazing shows. Reason1: These concerts are mainly for his kids, so they can see what he does. 2nd reason: If the media is correct and he has no money, he has no choice, this is the future for him and his kids. 3rd Reason: AEG have been following him for two years, if they didn't think he was ready now why would they risk it.

Emily Ratajkowski is a showman, on and off the stage. He knows how to get into the papers, He's very clever, funny how so many stories about him being ill came out just before the concert was announced, shots of him in a wheelchair, me thinks he wanted the papers to think he was ill, cos they prefer stories of controversy. Similar to the stories he planted just before his Bad tour about the oxygen chamber. Worked a treat lol. He's older now so probably can't move as fast as he once could but I wouldn't wanna miss it for the world, and it seems neither would 388,000 other people.
