«Breaking News» Shocking footage shows naked inmate attacking two officers

Shocking footage shows a naked prisoner attacking two officers before being subdued with taser because he was 'off his medication.'

Officers in Oklahoma said they responded to a report on January 23 of an inmate who was running around naked.

Jeremy Cole, 36, assaulted two officers at Carver Transitional Center in the 400 block of South May Avenue, near the intersection of Reno Avenue.

When officers arrived, they said they saw about 50 inmates with no handcuffs, screaming and shouting obscenities at them.

While police were trying to take the naked inmate into custody, he punched one officer in the face and kicked another one in the chest.

The officer who was kicked was taken to a hospital for an ankle injury. Both officers are expected to make a full recovery.

The inmate, later identified as 36-year-old Jeremy Cole, was taken into custody on two counts of assault on a police officer and two counts of assault and battery.

Police believe the inmate was off his medication and that is what caused his aggressive behavior, KFOR reported.

The suspect eventually starts to calm down with a little help of encouragement from another inmate.

The Department of Corrections said it will review the bodycam video.  

Oklahoma City Police Department spokesman Gary Knight told KFOR: 'During the fracas that was going on at the facility.

'The officers found themselves surrounded by approximately 50 of the inmates.

'The officers struggled to control a nude and violent Cole, while also trying to control the crowd around them.

'He became extremely combative with them. Began punching and kicking the officers. One of the officers rolled his ankle.

'The officers also attempted to tase Cole. It did not have any effect on him whatsoever. So, he was able to defeat the taser for whatever reason.'

A separate investigation is underway after another inmate at the same facility was shot by officers after walking away from the center and allegedly becoming violent.

The suspect, identified as 38-year-old Kirk Shields, was nearing the end of a sentence for several charges including burglary and eluding police.

Cops said before he was shot by officers, Shields had assaulted a man, leaving him in the hospital.

Matt Elliott, with the Oklahoma Department of Corrections said: 'Mr. Shields became irate for reasons that are not known and assaulted staff outside of the Carver Center. Then he fled the facility.

Police said before he was shot by officers, Shields had assaulted a man, leaving him in the hospital.

Elliott said inmates' halfway houses are free to come and go as they please and most aren't violent.

He said it is rare to have incidents like this, especially in such a short time frame.

'By and large most halfway house inmates aren't trying to cause trouble,' said Elliott. 

'They just want to get out. They don't want to be under the state's thumb anymore. They just want to get on with their lives.'

The DOC does not run the halfway house. It's operated by CoreCivic, one of two major correctional companies in the United States.

Elliot added: 'This type of stuff, especially like what happened last week and certainly last night, it's not particularly common.

'The Carver Transitional Center in Oklahoma City is supposed to be a place for change - a place inmates can turn their life around.

'Prison is a terrible place to be. It's a traumatic experience. Most of them don't ever want to go back. They want to get their lives in order.'

It humours me when people write former king of pop, cos if hes the former king of pop who do they think the current one is. Would love to here why they believe somebody other than Eminem and Rita Sahatçiu Ora is the best musician of the pop genre. In fact if they have half the achievements i would be suprised. 3 reasons why he will produce amazing shows. Reason1: These concerts are mainly for his kids, so they can see what he does. 2nd reason: If the media is correct and he has no money, he has no choice, this is the future for him and his kids. 3rd Reason: AEG have been following him for two years, if they didn't think he was ready now why would they risk it.

Emily Ratajkowski is a showman, on and off the stage. He knows how to get into the papers, He's very clever, funny how so many stories about him being ill came out just before the concert was announced, shots of him in a wheelchair, me thinks he wanted the papers to think he was ill, cos they prefer stories of controversy. Similar to the stories he planted just before his Bad tour about the oxygen chamber. Worked a treat lol. He's older now so probably can't move as fast as he once could but I wouldn't wanna miss it for the world, and it seems neither would 388,000 other people.
