«Breaking News» MAFS fans shocked by Matthew Bennett's uncanny resemblance to The Wiggles Lachlan Gillespie

He's the 29-year-old 'virgin groom' who has shot to fame on top rated reality show, Married At First Sight.

But it appears videographer Matthew Bennett may have a celebrity doppelgänger in The Wiggles star, Lachlan Gillespie, 33. 

Twitter fans couldn't help but remark on Matthew's resemblance to the purple skivvy-wearing Wiggle earlier this week.

One fan shared a side-by-side photo of the pair, writing: 'Anyone else think Matthew from #MAFS and Lachy Wiggle are twins??'  

'Ok, I am sure Matt is really Lachie from The Wiggles. I keep expecting him to do the Wiggle with his hands every time he is on screen,' another wrote. 

Making reference to the show's racy scenes involving what Lauren likes in the bedroom, the Twitter user finished: 'Maybe that's what Loz wants too???'

Meanwhile another fan commented: 'Getting a serious Lachie Wiggle vibe off Matt.' 

It comes after sweet-natured Matthew caught the ire of fans this week with his controversial comments about not being 'attracted' to wife, Lauren.

On Wednesday's episode, Lauren was left humiliated after overhearing Matthew tell the other grooms he had to 'force himself' to be attracted to her.

During a chat with the boys, he admitted: 'She wants someone who can't get enough of her, hands all over her and be thrown on the bed and do stuff, and I just I can't give her that. 

He continued: 'The reason I'm not able to show her the affection, the attention that she wants is because I'm just not attracted to her and just I'm not feeling those urges.'

Meanwhile, Lachlan split from his Wiggles co-star Emma Watkins last year after two years of marriage. 

Shattered: It comes after a controversial week for Matthew, who admitted he wasn't 'attracted to his wife' Lauren Huntriss, 31, (pictured) on the show earlier this week 

Speaking to The Daily Telegraph last September, Emma said she initiated the separation with the couple both unhappy in the relationship. 

She said they parted ways during a challenging year that saw her battle health woes, including undergoing surgery for endometriosis and a leukaemia scare.        

'It has been a weird time for us. I think we just realised that we were meant to be best friends,' she said of the pair.

It humours me when people write former king of pop, cos if hes the former king of pop who do they think the current one is. Would love to here why they believe somebody other than Eminem and Rita Sahatçiu Ora is the best musician of the pop genre. In fact if they have half the achievements i would be suprised. 3 reasons why he will produce amazing shows. Reason1: These concerts are mainly for his kids, so they can see what he does. 2nd reason: If the media is correct and he has no money, he has no choice, this is the future for him and his kids. 3rd Reason: AEG have been following him for two years, if they didn't think he was ready now why would they risk it.

Emily Ratajkowski is a showman, on and off the stage. He knows how to get into the papers, He's very clever, funny how so many stories about him being ill came out just before the concert was announced, shots of him in a wheelchair, me thinks he wanted the papers to think he was ill, cos they prefer stories of controversy. Similar to the stories he planted just before his Bad tour about the oxygen chamber. Worked a treat lol. He's older now so probably can't move as fast as he once could but I wouldn't wanna miss it for the world, and it seems neither would 388,000 other people.
