«Breaking News» Kelly Brook, 39, opens up on ‘feeling a failure’ after her miscarriage

She has taken the radio waves by storm in her new job as a presenter on Heart radio.

And Kelly Brook, 39, has now honestly shared on how her new career high as come alongside her acceptance that children may not be in her future. 

Sharing in an interview with The Sun, the model shared the struggle of dealing with a miscarriage in 2011, six months into her pregnancy with her ex boyfriend Thom Evans, and how now she is not sure if her and beau, Jeremy Parisi, 33, will have kids.

'You can feel a bit of a failure if you go through miscarriage or feel that it’s quite unfair, but as much as it was a real loss and a difficult time, I got through it,' Kelly explained.

Candidly she admitted that children probably won’t be on the cards for her future.

'I’ve sat down and asked myself: "Do I really want to have children? Is this something I really want to do?" And I’ve realised that actually it’s not something I’ve always wanted and I’m fine with it.'

She added that she ‘thinks there’s a stigma’ to not having children and that she feels judged at times.

The presenter also revealed that she is quite a ‘selfish person’ so much so that her mum asked her 'what she was thinking?' having kids before she suffered her miscarriage.

Kelly's tragic loss occurred in April 2011 and she previously revealed what happened in her autobiography, Close Up, explaining that she also lost a second baby in December that year.

She discussed her heartache in an appearance on Loose Women last year and she reflected on the distressing time.

She began: 'I hit 30 and I got pregnant, and I said to myself, right, "I am not really ready to have children, but this is an amazing opportunity". I hadn't planned to get pregnant, but unfortunately I had a miscarriage very late along the line.

'I just feel like, If I'd known in my 20s how difficult having children in my 30s would be, I think I would have made different choices. 

She explained: 'I spent so much time focused on my career that having a family was so left behind and now I am in my late 30s, I feel like actually I wish I had kind of thought more about having more children earlier.

The television presenter admitted that although she would love a family, she is happier than ever with her French beau Jeremy who she has been dating since April 2015.

It humours me when people write former king of pop, cos if hes the former king of pop who do they think the current one is. Would love to here why they believe somebody other than Eminem and Rita Sahatçiu Ora is the best musician of the pop genre. In fact if they have half the achievements i would be suprised. 3 reasons why he will produce amazing shows. Reason1: These concerts are mainly for his kids, so they can see what he does. 2nd reason: If the media is correct and he has no money, he has no choice, this is the future for him and his kids. 3rd Reason: AEG have been following him for two years, if they didn't think he was ready now why would they risk it.

Emily Ratajkowski is a showman, on and off the stage. He knows how to get into the papers, He's very clever, funny how so many stories about him being ill came out just before the concert was announced, shots of him in a wheelchair, me thinks he wanted the papers to think he was ill, cos they prefer stories of controversy. Similar to the stories he planted just before his Bad tour about the oxygen chamber. Worked a treat lol. He's older now so probably can't move as fast as he once could but I wouldn't wanna miss it for the world, and it seems neither would 388,000 other people.
