«Breaking News» Harvey Weinstein’s abandoned Tribeca office is sold and his infamous casting couch 'disposed of'

Harvey Weinstein's Manhattan office has officially been sold, and the notorious casting couch where some of his alleged assaults took place disposed of.

The New York Post reports that real estate developer Cape Advisors agreed to pay more than $6million in cash for the loft that includes a private bathroom and shower. The deal is expected to close by next month.

The office, which sits above Robert De Niro's Tribeca Grill restaurant on the third floor of 375 Greenwich St., was originally listed for $10million in the fall. 

The infamous three-seat sofa where he allegedly preyed upon his female victims has been discarded. A source told the local newspaper: 'The couch is gone - disposed of.'

Italian model Ambra Battilana Gutierrez accused Weinstein (seen leaving court in New York on January 25) of groping her breasts on the casting couch that has been discarded. His former assistant Sandeep Rehal said she routinely had to 'clean up the semen on the couch'

Italian model Ambra Battilana Gutierrez said she was sitting on that very couch when Weinstein sexually assaulted her by groping her breasts and trying to place a hand up her skirt when the two had a business meeting in March 2015. 

Police and prosecutors investigated her allegations which he denied. 

He launched a team of defense lawyers and publicists to undermine her credibility and Manhattan district attorney Cyrus R. Vance Jr said he would not press charges, according to the New York Times.  

His former assistant Sandeep Rehal said she routinely had to 'clean up the semen on the couch' in his office.

'This happened on a regular basis, three or so times a week when Harvey Weinstein was in New York,' she said, according to her pending lawsuit against him for sexual harassment.

That's not all she cleaned up - she also claims she picked up his used condoms and the syringes he used to inject himself with an erection drug directly into his penis.

Weinstein has denied Rehal's claims.

'It's the original casting couch,' a source told Page Six.

Visitors of the hastily abandoned office described it as 'disgusting', chocked with the millionaire's cheap 'ugly' furniture and stained and rumpled carpeting. 

'Ikea would have been a step up. This is just bad mahogany from a 1987 estate sale,' a source said. 'It is really nuts. The whole place is so seedy.' 

Another room connected to Weinstein's office revealed a large daybed gray sofa with throw pillows and a treadmill. 

The room is consistent with Irish-Zimbabwean singer Lucia Evans' claims when she said she was forced to perform oral sex on Weinstein in a room in his office that had exercise equipment in it. 

Weinstein's disgraceful fall and arrest took place in May 2018 following a string of sexual harassment allegations by women he worked with.  

The disgraced movie mogul vacated the premises on October 2017.

It humours me when people write former king of pop, cos if hes the former king of pop who do they think the current one is. Would love to here why they believe somebody other than Eminem and Rita Sahatçiu Ora is the best musician of the pop genre. In fact if they have half the achievements i would be suprised. 3 reasons why he will produce amazing shows. Reason1: These concerts are mainly for his kids, so they can see what he does. 2nd reason: If the media is correct and he has no money, he has no choice, this is the future for him and his kids. 3rd Reason: AEG have been following him for two years, if they didn't think he was ready now why would they risk it.

Emily Ratajkowski is a showman, on and off the stage. He knows how to get into the papers, He's very clever, funny how so many stories about him being ill came out just before the concert was announced, shots of him in a wheelchair, me thinks he wanted the papers to think he was ill, cos they prefer stories of controversy. Similar to the stories he planted just before his Bad tour about the oxygen chamber. Worked a treat lol. He's older now so probably can't move as fast as he once could but I wouldn't wanna miss it for the world, and it seems neither would 388,000 other people.
