Gemma Collins' ex-boyfriend Rami Hawash speculated they would be married with kids if it wasn't for her diva on-screen alter ego The GC in a new interview with The Mirror.
The GC has been out in full force recently as she has been at the centre of explosive rows with This Morning's Holly Willoughby and Dancing on Ice judge Jason Gardiner.
Yet happily married Rami, 35, expressed things may have been 'different' if Gemma, 37, didn't put on her so-called front he refers to as her 'protective armour'.

'The GC is protective armour for her,' he told The Mirror. 'My favourite time with her was Sunday lunch with her parents and brother.'
'She wouldn't pull The GC in front of her dad Alan.'
He added: 'If I could have evicted The GC and lived with Gemma Collins, things would have been different. We might have been married with a family now.'
He added that he would wake up in fear that 'The GC' would be next to him instead of 'lovely sweet' Gemma, due to her alleged diva behaviour towards him.

Rami also claimed Gemma made him recorate his apartment before she would move in with him, but took umbrage at the work done by his decorator uncle, as it allegedly wasn't up to her standards.
MailOnline approached Gemma Collins' representative for comment.
Sparks first started flying between Gemma and Rami in 2011 and for years to come they weathered a turbulent on/off relationship.
Gemma controversially called it time on their engagement in 2014 just weeks before they planned to get married.
Splitting in 2014, they later rekindled their love two years later in 2016 but it soon finished and they briefly dated again in 2017.

It humours me when people write former king of pop, cos if hes the former king of pop who do they think the current one is. Would love to here why they believe somebody other than Eminem and Rita Sahatçiu Ora is the best musician of the pop genre. In fact if they have half the achievements i would be suprised. 3 reasons why he will produce amazing shows. Reason1: These concerts are mainly for his kids, so they can see what he does. 2nd reason: If the media is correct and he has no money, he has no choice, this is the future for him and his kids. 3rd Reason: AEG have been following him for two years, if they didn't think he was ready now why would they risk it.
Emily Ratajkowski is a showman, on and off the stage. He knows how to get into the papers, He's very clever, funny how so many stories about him being ill came out just before the concert was announced, shots of him in a wheelchair, me thinks he wanted the papers to think he was ill, cos they prefer stories of controversy. Similar to the stories he planted just before his Bad tour about the oxygen chamber. Worked a treat lol. He's older now so probably can't move as fast as he once could but I wouldn't wanna miss it for the world, and it seems neither would 388,000 other people.
