However, the pair's rehearsals were halted when the reality star dropped brunette beauty Vanessa to the floor after attempting to perform a Detroiter lift.
Shortly after the fall, Wes was attended to by the show's paramedic after scraping his arm on the ink.

The hunk appeared to make a defiant return to the rink as he shared a snap of himself in costume on Instagram.
On last Sunday's edition of the show, Wes, who recently split from ex Megan Barton Hanson and Vanessa won the highest score of the series with their intimate dance, choreographed to the Labyrinth hit Jealous.
Despite Wes and Vanessa refuting any whisperings of a romance during their pro/celebrity partnership, Phillip Schofield decided to fuel the fire during the episode.

Introducing the couple, who were second to take to the ice this week, the presenter said: 'They've taken on the role of romantic love birds for this week's show. And they were sure to get hot and sweaty together in the gym this week!'
Indeed, the pair were seen in their VT pumping iron together as they prepared for the lift that was involved in their set - a routine that had incredibly romantic undertones.
Ashley Banjo was particularly glowing when he critiqued them, saying: 'I would have paid to see that. It was nearly perfect. It was breathtaking!'
The pair avoided the ominous double elimination as Jane Danson and Sylvain Longchambon, and Ryan Sidebottom and Brandee Malto were booted off the show.

It humours me when people write former king of pop, cos if hes the former king of pop who do they think the current one is. Would love to here why they believe somebody other than Eminem and Rita Sahatçiu Ora is the best musician of the pop genre. In fact if they have half the achievements i would be suprised. 3 reasons why he will produce amazing shows. Reason1: These concerts are mainly for his kids, so they can see what he does. 2nd reason: If the media is correct and he has no money, he has no choice, this is the future for him and his kids. 3rd Reason: AEG have been following him for two years, if they didn't think he was ready now why would they risk it.
Emily Ratajkowski is a showman, on and off the stage. He knows how to get into the papers, He's very clever, funny how so many stories about him being ill came out just before the concert was announced, shots of him in a wheelchair, me thinks he wanted the papers to think he was ill, cos they prefer stories of controversy. Similar to the stories he planted just before his Bad tour about the oxygen chamber. Worked a treat lol. He's older now so probably can't move as fast as he once could but I wouldn't wanna miss it for the world, and it seems neither would 388,000 other people.
