There appears to be evidence that an alleged child rapist faked his own death in Alabama and is now hiding out in Denver close to where his mother, brother and sister live.

Deputy U.S. Marshals say they have evidence that suggests that Jacob Blair Scott, 42, is still alive and attempting to keep a low profile in Colorado.

Jackson County Prosecutors in Pascagoula, Mississippi charged Scott with 14 sex charges alleging he raped a young girl.

Scott disappeared on July 30 2018, from Orange Beach, Alabama just days before he was set to plead guilty in the case.

Law enforcement found a dinghy floating in the ocean, a gun tied to the boat and what has been described as a suicide note listing contact information for Scott's family.

According to The Denver Channel Deputy U.S. Marshal Katrina Crouse said investigators found the situation strange right from the starts after only a very small amount of blood was found on the dinghy.

'Normally in situations where somebody is shot, committed suicide, you're going to have other forensic-type evidence. For example, brain matter, hair, skin, bone,' she said. 'None of that was found.'

Investigators also found it incredibly strange that the gun was left tied to the boat.

'It was almost like they wanted to make sure that the gun was discovered,' she said.

No body was ever found which is also unusual even when they are lost at sea just off shore.

'Normally bodies will float to the surface,' Crouse said.

Scott vanished days before he was set to plead guilty in court, she said.

After Scott's disappearance, a judge in Jackson County, Miss. issued an arrest warrant for Scott. He had been out on bond while his case moved through the legal system.

Scott's mother, who lives in the Denver area has denied that her son is alive and blames the 14-year-old girl, saying the girl seduced her son.

Adding to the conspiracy, as investigators looked deeper into Scott's disappearance, they discovered he withdrew around $45,000 from his retirement account before disappearing.

'If you take money out of an account, we know where that money goes. You either give it to relatives or you distribute it to friends,' Deputy U.S. Marshal Crouse said. 'No money has been located.'

Investigators have so far been unable to track Scott down after person who claimed to be a friend of his called the lead investigator in Jackson County, Mississippi to say Scott had been spotted driving a vehicle in the county in August 2018.

Another tip them came through to Mississippi Coast Crime Stoppers four months later in December 2018.

'The tipster stated that someone matching the description of Jacob Blair Scott was seen frequenting the Golden Spike Apartments,' Crouse said. 'The tipster stated the suspect was seen going up to the 8th floor and on the first floor,' she said.

Marshals visited apartment management who claimed not to recognize Scott's photo but then a worker at the complex said that he had been smoking nearby.

The was also spotted earlier this week by a resident at the complex who called a local TV station.

'He was in front of garbage cans smoking,' Mano Quintana said. 'Pretty darn sure. I'm really 100-percent positive it was him.'

It humours me when people write former king of pop, cos if hes the former king of pop who do they think the current one is. Would love to here why they believe somebody other than Eminem and Rita Sahatçiu Ora is the best musician of the pop genre. In fact if they have half the achievements i would be suprised. 3 reasons why he will produce amazing shows. Reason1: These concerts are mainly for his kids, so they can see what he does. 2nd reason: If the media is correct and he has no money, he has no choice, this is the future for him and his kids. 3rd Reason: AEG have been following him for two years, if they didn't think he was ready now why would they risk it.

Emily Ratajkowski is a showman, on and off the stage. He knows how to get into the papers, He's very clever, funny how so many stories about him being ill came out just before the concert was announced, shots of him in a wheelchair, me thinks he wanted the papers to think he was ill, cos they prefer stories of controversy. Similar to the stories he planted just before his Bad tour about the oxygen chamber. Worked a treat lol. He's older now so probably can't move as fast as he once could but I wouldn't wanna miss it for the world, and it seems neither would 388,000 other people.
