«Breaking News» Justin Bieber's mom is proud of him amid 'depression treatment'

It's hard enough to grow up in private, let alone to do it in the public eye.

Justin Bieber's mom Pattie Mallette understand's just how difficult it is for her son, who is reportedly being treated for depression.

The 43-year-old celebrity mother briefly opened up about her 24-year-old son when a TMZ videographer caught up with her at Los Angeles' LAX airport.

Pattie didn't initially respond when asked how Justin was, but she replied, 'I'm proud of him,' after being prompted.

When the cameraman suggested that it takes boldness to deal with issues, she added a bit more.

'We're all a work in progress and he's living his life out loud,' she said. 'It's got to be tough.'

That toughness manifested in recent days, as Justin has reportedly been receiving treatment for depression.

His wife, Hailey Baldwin, 22, spotted the symptoms of the condition after her singer husband began sleeping longer than usual and had trouble getting up in the mornings, according to an insider who spoke to Entertainment Tonight.

'One of the reasons Hailey knew he needed more help was his sleep patterns,' revealed the insider.

'He's been sleeping far more than usual, and struggles to get out of bed until very late into the morning or early afternoon.'

The songwriter had apparently suffered from depression prior to his marriage and at various times throughout his life.

On Thursday, the Sorry crooner was seen looking dejected as he bounced a basketball outdoors in the snow by himself. 

Justin was visiting his pastor Carl Lentz at his New Jersey home. 

However, he was seen looking happier and more energetic on Friday when he and Hailey attended a joint counseling session in New York City.

Hailey's marriage to Justin was revealed in November of last year, after they got engaged in July 2018. 

The fashion model dated her future husband in late 2015 through early 2016, before their eventually reconciliation two years later.

Hailey chatted about her new marriage earlier this week with her friend and fellow model Kendall Jenner on the Zaza World Radio podcast on Apple Music.

She admitted that the permanence of marriage had only recently sunk in.

'It's definitely scary to be this young and be married,' she admitted. 'It's a scary thing, but it's also the person that I've literally been in love with for so many years. So, that's the best part about it. Like I feel like he's my best friend. And we just get to do life together forever, now.

'But I think the forever aspect for me is just like, you don't think about that until you get married. And then you're like, OK, this is really like, this is forever. Meaning like, there is no end.'

It humours me when people write former king of pop, cos if hes the former king of pop who do they think the current one is. Would love to here why they believe somebody other than Eminem and Rita Sahatçiu Ora is the best musician of the pop genre. In fact if they have half the achievements i would be suprised. 3 reasons why he will produce amazing shows. Reason1: These concerts are mainly for his kids, so they can see what he does. 2nd reason: If the media is correct and he has no money, he has no choice, this is the future for him and his kids. 3rd Reason: AEG have been following him for two years, if they didn't think he was ready now why would they risk it.

Emily Ratajkowski is a showman, on and off the stage. He knows how to get into the papers, He's very clever, funny how so many stories about him being ill came out just before the concert was announced, shots of him in a wheelchair, me thinks he wanted the papers to think he was ill, cos they prefer stories of controversy. Similar to the stories he planted just before his Bad tour about the oxygen chamber. Worked a treat lol. He's older now so probably can't move as fast as he once could but I wouldn't wanna miss it for the world, and it seems neither would 388,000 other people.
