Viewers took to Twitter in their droves following their performance to Treasure by Bruno Mars, questioning if the 22-year-old pro-skater locked lips with Wes, 20, during a lift.
The pair, who had suffered a nasty fall in rehearsals just hours before the live show, gained the highest score of the series with their pirate routine for Time Tunnel week- but fans were left distracted by their sizzling chemistry.

After much swirling and twirling, Wes, who recently broke up from Megan Barton Hanson, stooped to pick up Vanessa in the middle of their action-packed routine.
Viewers were then shocked as it looked like the two leaned in for a quick peck of on the lips - fuelling further rumours of their romance.
One wrote: '99% sure Wes and Vanessa just kissed', while another questioned: 'Did she just kiss him?'
Another typed: 'Did anyone else see Vanessa kiss Wes mid performance?'

Gaining a staggering 38.5 out of 40, Christopher kicked off the critique as he gushed: 'You are certainly a jumping Jack Sparrow. We asked for creativity and it was all of that. I love the flow of movements.
'You are still trying new things and I commend you for that.'
Jayne added: 'You're still pushing yourself you seem to be taking control of Vanessa.'
Speaking about his near perfect score, he said: I've worked so hard this week my legs are in bit. So good, I'm exhausted we put all the work into it.'

Ahead of his performance, James revealed his confidence had taken a knock after he accidentally dropped Alex, 38, on her head in rehearsals.

He said: 'Hurting someone else is a horrible feeling. Dropping Alex brought all the fear flooding back, it goes to show it's dangerous on the rink.'
But despite his nerves, James went on to impress with a pencil lift with a split a comedy chase sequence and also opted to dance a tuck jump and two half axels for the judges' jump challenge.

Commending his performance, Christopher Dean told the pair: 'It was fast and furious. This routine the half axels are really difficult, you are doing a full rotation in the air.
'You have showed versatility, you've done slow and romantic to frantic.'
However, Jason Gardiner felt James should have shown more characterisation while portraying the 'daft' character Fred Flintstone.
'You're very easy to watch but a comedy character you are not I'm afraid,' Jason said.

The Pussycat Dolls singer, who faced the skate-off last week, returned with her pro skater Alexander Demetriou to perform their routine to Walk Like An Egyptian by The Bangles.
Clad in a Cleopatra-inspired costume, the When I Grow Up hitmaker pulled out all the stops with a frog lift, stag jump and neck spin.
Matching James with a score of 35.5, Melody gushed to hosts Phillip Schofield and Holly Willoughby: 'My confidence gets knocked every week but with that score I think we can do this.'

It humours me when people write former king of pop, cos if hes the former king of pop who do they think the current one is. Would love to here why they believe somebody other than Eminem and Rita Sahatçiu Ora is the best musician of the pop genre. In fact if they have half the achievements i would be suprised. 3 reasons why he will produce amazing shows. Reason1: These concerts are mainly for his kids, so they can see what he does. 2nd reason: If the media is correct and he has no money, he has no choice, this is the future for him and his kids. 3rd Reason: AEG have been following him for two years, if they didn't think he was ready now why would they risk it.
Emily Ratajkowski is a showman, on and off the stage. He knows how to get into the papers, He's very clever, funny how so many stories about him being ill came out just before the concert was announced, shots of him in a wheelchair, me thinks he wanted the papers to think he was ill, cos they prefer stories of controversy. Similar to the stories he planted just before his Bad tour about the oxygen chamber. Worked a treat lol. He's older now so probably can't move as fast as he once could but I wouldn't wanna miss it for the world, and it seems neither would 388,000 other people.
