«Breaking News» Ryanair employee calls passenger a 'fat slob' in shocking social media rant

A Ryanair worker was caught calling a passenger a 'fat slob' after he complained the airline did not let his wife on board.

Lauren Coupland, from Derby, went on a Facebook rant after David Bookbinder took Ryanair to task for how they treated his wife.

Mr Bookbinder claimed his Chinese wife Wang Yi was not allowed to travel due to visa issues.

Miss Coupland left a comment under a local newspaper article where Mr Bookbinder complained about Ryanair's treatment of his wife

In response to a local newspaper article about Bookbinder's incident, Coupland wrote: 'I bet his wife was hoping deep down that she wouldn't get on the flight and he would carry on his journey without her.

'I mean waking up to that fat slob every morning!'

Miss Coupland is registered as working as a 'customer service supervisor' for Ryanair on her Facebook page, while there is also pictures of her wearing the uniform on her social media page.

Mr Bookbinder, 78, and his wife were strangded at East Midlands Airport after they were refused entry onto the plane.

They were supposed to fly to Tenerife but were unable to make the flight after Ryanair staff refused to allow Wang Yi to fly as she did not have a visa for travel in the EU Schengen zone.

However he argued because she is travelling on his British visa that she did not need the visa. 

Miss Coupland has since deleted any reference to Ryanair in her profile, although pictures of her posing in the uniform remain on her profile. 

There is no suggestion Miss Coupland was involved in refusing to allow Wang Yi on her flight, and she has since deleted her public remarks about Mr Bookbinder.

MailOnline has approached Miss Coupland for comment.

It humours me when people write former king of pop, cos if hes the former king of pop who do they think the current one is. Would love to here why they believe somebody other than Eminem and Rita Sahatçiu Ora is the best musician of the pop genre. In fact if they have half the achievements i would be suprised. 3 reasons why he will produce amazing shows. Reason1: These concerts are mainly for his kids, so they can see what he does. 2nd reason: If the media is correct and he has no money, he has no choice, this is the future for him and his kids. 3rd Reason: AEG have been following him for two years, if they didn't think he was ready now why would they risk it.

Emily Ratajkowski is a showman, on and off the stage. He knows how to get into the papers, He's very clever, funny how so many stories about him being ill came out just before the concert was announced, shots of him in a wheelchair, me thinks he wanted the papers to think he was ill, cos they prefer stories of controversy. Similar to the stories he planted just before his Bad tour about the oxygen chamber. Worked a treat lol. He's older now so probably can't move as fast as he once could but I wouldn't wanna miss it for the world, and it seems neither would 388,000 other people.
