«Breaking News» Recipe for Meghan Markle’s favourite avocado and green chilli dip from her charity cookbook

Meghan has revealed her favourite recipe from her new charity cookbook is a green chilli and avocado dip.

The Duchess of Sussex, 37, describes in the foreword of the book how she was treated to her 'very favourite avocado dip that I now make at home' by the women of the Hubb Community Kitchen in west London.

The recipe for the dip is by Munira Mahmud, who is described by Meghan as the 'resident chef de cuisine' of the group, all of whom gathered together following the devastating Grenfell Tower fire.

Meghan worked with the women from Hubb to create Together: Our Community Cookbook, released on Thursday - with all proceeds going back to the community kitchen.

Describing the Hubb Community Kitchen in her foreword to the book, Meghan writes: '[U]pon departure you will have been stuffed to the gills with samosas flecked with cinnamon, chapatis flavoured with carrots and onion, Russian Semolina cake, Persian teas and my very favourite avocado dip that I now make at home.'

Speaking about meeting Munira for the first time, Meghan described how she was immediately encouraged by the mother-of-two to muck in.

'On my first visit, I asked Munira, the resident chef de cuisine (so to speak), how I could help,' she writes.

'An apron was quickly wrapped around me, I pushed up my sleeves, and I found myself washing the rice for lunch.

'Munira's sister-in-law, who had flown in from Egypt after Grenfell to help the family, helped me divide the correct amount of butter and fresh thyme to pour into the pot of rice bubbling away on the stovetop.

'All the aromas percolating in a kitchen filled with countless languages aflutter, remains one of my most treasured memories from my first visit to the kitchen.'

During the Grenfell blaze, Munira managed to escape the burning building, leading the rest of her family - including her husband, his father and their two children to safety.

Introducing her recipe in the cookbook, the mother-of-two explained how it had always been her dream to run her own street kitchen.

'My lifelong dream has been to have a food van; I spend any free time I have thinking up dishes, and putting ingredients together in my mind,' she writes. 'These dips are my own invention.'

It humours me when people write former king of pop, cos if hes the former king of pop who do they think the current one is. Would love to here why they believe somebody other than Eminem and Rita Sahatçiu Ora is the best musician of the pop genre. In fact if they have half the achievements i would be suprised. 3 reasons why he will produce amazing shows. Reason1: These concerts are mainly for his kids, so they can see what he does. 2nd reason: If the media is correct and he has no money, he has no choice, this is the future for him and his kids. 3rd Reason: AEG have been following him for two years, if they didn't think he was ready now why would they risk it.

Emily Ratajkowski is a showman, on and off the stage. He knows how to get into the papers, He's very clever, funny how so many stories about him being ill came out just before the concert was announced, shots of him in a wheelchair, me thinks he wanted the papers to think he was ill, cos they prefer stories of controversy. Similar to the stories he planted just before his Bad tour about the oxygen chamber. Worked a treat lol. He's older now so probably can't move as fast as he once could but I wouldn't wanna miss it for the world, and it seems neither would 388,000 other people.
