A Florida mother was arrested and charged with negligent manslaughter after leaving her one-year-old daughter in a hot car while she went to work for seven hours.

The incident where she was gone from 9am to 4pm Friday was one of two hot car deaths in the state that day.

Kailyn Pollard, 29, claims she forgot the toddler was in the vehicle and only discovered the body after picking up food from Olive Garden and stopping at a Wawa gas station that afternoon.

It took 40 minutes of the Sorrento resident being back in her car to notice her little girl named Kit Noelle Pollard, despite the rear-facing child seat set up so the driver can see behind them.

The set-up enabled 'direct visual connection with the driver and car seat rider via rear view mirror' the deputy who arrested the mother said.

The temperature had been two degrees higher than the record for that day according to the National Weather Service in Melbourne, ClickOrlando reports.

Pollard usually took her daughter to day care while she worked at solar energy company iQ Power and appeared to be in shock as law enforcement interviewed her.

The woman requested an attorney and was uncooperative with the investigation before being taken to Central Florida Regional Hospital for extreme anxiety.

She appeared in court Saturday with attorney Kyle Fletcher and the baby's father and grandfather were also in attendance. She is due back October 23.

Just two hours earlier a four-year-old boy was found in a car outside Orange County school Elite Preparatory Academy.

A bystander took him to the fire station across the road.

'The child was rushed by that rescue station to Arnold Palmer Hospital, where he was pronounced deceased,' sheriff's spokesman Jeff Williamson said. 'Unfortunately, we know how busy we all get in our life. I'm not excusing people of anything, however. There are ways to remember you have a child in a car. We live in Florida.'

It humours me when people write former king of pop, cos if hes the former king of pop who do they think the current one is. Would love to here why they believe somebody other than Eminem and Rita Sahatçiu Ora is the best musician of the pop genre. In fact if they have half the achievements i would be suprised. 3 reasons why he will produce amazing shows. Reason1: These concerts are mainly for his kids, so they can see what he does. 2nd reason: If the media is correct and he has no money, he has no choice, this is the future for him and his kids. 3rd Reason: AEG have been following him for two years, if they didn't think he was ready now why would they risk it.

Emily Ratajkowski is a showman, on and off the stage. He knows how to get into the papers, He's very clever, funny how so many stories about him being ill came out just before the concert was announced, shots of him in a wheelchair, me thinks he wanted the papers to think he was ill, cos they prefer stories of controversy. Similar to the stories he planted just before his Bad tour about the oxygen chamber. Worked a treat lol. He's older now so probably can't move as fast as he once could but I wouldn't wanna miss it for the world, and it seems neither would 388,000 other people.
