A California woman who survived a horror bus crash in New Mexico that killed everyone in front of her has given birth to twins two months early.
Christy Westerdale was with her partner, Joseph Chandler, and their four-year-old daughter Paityn, when the Greyhound bus they were travelling on collided with an out of control semi-trailer on Thursday afternoon, Fox 40 reported.
The crash killed eight of the roughly 50 people who were on board, and injured 25. Westerdale was left with a shattered knee, a broken leg and a separated pelvis, and her injuries forced her to go into labor at just seven months pregnant.
Westerdale and her partner will need to remain in New Mexico for the next few months as their premature twins are monitored, but Chandler says it's a small price to pay.
The new father-of-three says he was left unconscious following the crash, but woke up soon after and managed to save his family.
'I got my whole family off the bus and it's a miracle. I cannot believe it. Everybody that was sitting in front of my family is dead,' he said.

Though there was a happy ending, Chandler revealed his entire world was close to falling apart as he heroically carried his daughter, and then his partner, off the bus.
'I thought she was dead and I was gonna get her body off the bus when she woke up in my arms,' he said.
'I was like, "Oh my God! Come on baby, we're going to be OK, we're going to get off this bus".'
To help cover medical expenses and allow Chandler to take the time he needs to help his family, Westerdale's mother Nancy has launched a GoFundMe account.

'[Westerdale and Chandler] have lost all their possessions,' the page reads.
'They have no money, clothes or a place to go as the babies will be in the hospital for at least six to eight weeks. Christy will need extensive surgery and rehabilitation therapy.'
Donations have so far reached past $8,000, thousands more than the family asked for.

Christy ...
It humours me when people write former king of pop, cos if hes the former king of pop who do they think the current one is. Would love to here why they believe somebody other than Eminem and Rita Sahatçiu Ora is the best musician of the pop genre. In fact if they have half the achievements i would be suprised. 3 reasons why he will produce amazing shows. Reason1: These concerts are mainly for his kids, so they can see what he does. 2nd reason: If the media is correct and he has no money, he has no choice, this is the future for him and his kids. 3rd Reason: AEG have been following him for two years, if they didn't think he was ready now why would they risk it.
Emily Ratajkowski is a showman, on and off the stage. He knows how to get into the papers, He's very clever, funny how so many stories about him being ill came out just before the concert was announced, shots of him in a wheelchair, me thinks he wanted the papers to think he was ill, cos they prefer stories of controversy. Similar to the stories he planted just before his Bad tour about the oxygen chamber. Worked a treat lol. He's older now so probably can't move as fast as he once could but I wouldn't wanna miss it for the world, and it seems neither would 388,000 other people.
