«Breaking News» Trent Alexander-Arnold hits the crossbar on cue after being challenged by Jesse Lingard

Trent Alexander-Arnold settled a debate with Jesse Lingard in style after the right back hit the crossbar at the first time of asking following England training.

Following a kickabout in training at St George's Park on Thursday afternoon, the pair were squabbling over an incident which had happened moments before.

Alexander-Arnold, who was on the winning side of the training ground game, approaches both Lingard and Ruben Loftus-Cheek to shake their hands after what seems to have been a game-winning decision that has gone against them.

Lingard can be heard complaining that 'the ball was already out' before accusing Alexander-Arnold of 'cheating' as Loftus-Cheek joins in to echo the Manchester United attacker's thoughts.

As the Liverpool right back continues to hold his hand out to the pair, he tells Loftus-Cheek and Lingard to 'be graceful in defeat' as the light-hearted bickering goes on.

Out of nowhere, Eric Dier joins the debate by insisting that 'it was a clear foul' as the different opinions cloud what happened during the game.

As neither side backs down from the argument, Lingard tells Alexander-Arnold that he'll only shake his hand if he hits the crossbar from roughly 50 yards away at the first time of asking.

The 19-year-old obliges and impressively nails the attempt in one go causing all involved to burst into laughter at the freak bit of skill.

Lingard stays true to his word and shakes Alexander-Arnold's hand while both are in disbelief at what they just witnessed.

Gareth Southgate's men will face Spain in the UEFA Nations League opener on Saturday evening.

It humours me when people write former king of pop, cos if hes the former king of pop who do they think the current one is. Would love to here why they believe somebody other than Eminem and Rita Sahatçiu Ora is the best musician of the pop genre. In fact if they have half the achievements i would be suprised. 3 reasons why he will produce amazing shows. Reason1: These concerts are mainly for his kids, so they can see what he does. 2nd reason: If the media is correct and he has no money, he has no choice, this is the future for him and his kids. 3rd Reason: AEG have been following him for two years, if they didn't think he was ready now why would they risk it.

Emily Ratajkowski is a showman, on and off the stage. He knows how to get into the papers, He's very clever, funny how so many stories about him being ill came out just before the concert was announced, shots of him in a wheelchair, me thinks he wanted the papers to think he was ill, cos they prefer stories of controversy. Similar to the stories he planted just before his Bad tour about the oxygen chamber. Worked a treat lol. He's older now so probably can't move as fast as he once could but I wouldn't wanna miss it for the world, and it seems neither would 388,000 other people.
