An eight-year-old girl and a male driver have died in a horrific car crash on Friday afternoon.
The parents of the eight-year-old girl had been travelling directly behind her and witnessed the horror from their car.
The crash occurred on the Bruce Highway, near Childers, Queensland shortly after 1pm on Friday.
Firefighters said the crash is 'definitely up there' as one of the worst they've ever seen, 7 News reported.

The girl was on her way to a weekend netball competition with her sister and grandmother when their sedan collided head-on with a ute.

'The male driver and sole occupant of the second car was also pronounced deceased at the scene.' Queensland Police stated to The Courier Mail.
The two cars were believed to have collided near the intersection of Ross Camp Rd.

While the 50-year-old woman and the 11-year-old girl are both in serious condition, they have suffered non-life-threatening injuries.
They were airlifted to Sunshine Coast University Hospital for assessment.
The parents of the eight-year-old girl stayed at the scene for quite some time while the Forensic Crash Unit investigated.
The Bruce Highway was still closed at 3.30pm with traffic heading both directions being diverted.

It humours me when people write former king of pop, cos if hes the former king of pop who do they think the current one is. Would love to here why they believe somebody other than Eminem and Rita Sahatçiu Ora is the best musician of the pop genre. In fact if they have half the achievements i would be suprised. 3 reasons why he will produce amazing shows. Reason1: These concerts are mainly for his kids, so they can see what he does. 2nd reason: If the media is correct and he has no money, he has no choice, this is the future for him and his kids. 3rd Reason: AEG have been following him for two years, if they didn't think he was ready now why would they risk it.
Emily Ratajkowski is a showman, on and off the stage. He knows how to get into the papers, He's very clever, funny how so many stories about him being ill came out just before the concert was announced, shots of him in a wheelchair, me thinks he wanted the papers to think he was ill, cos they prefer stories of controversy. Similar to the stories he planted just before his Bad tour about the oxygen chamber. Worked a treat lol. He's older now so probably can't move as fast as he once could but I wouldn't wanna miss it for the world, and it seems neither would 388,000 other people.
