«Breaking News» Made In Chelsea's Ollie Locke reveals he's ENGAGED to old friend

Made In Chelsea star Ollie Locke has announced his engagement to friend of 10 years, Gareth Locke. 

He took to Instagram on Tuesday to share an announcement from The Times revealing he was set to tie the knot to 'someone who makes me smile like this every day!' 

He added a caption on the shot reading: 'I have known him for 10 years, and at many of my most important life moments he was in the background...

'Earlier this year we realised that what we had both been looking for was standing in front of us all along, the greatest hint was probably that we already have the same surname!...

'I have never been happier and can’t wait to spend the rest of my life with someone who makes me smile like this every day! On Saturday I said yes Xx @garethlocke'.

While he has kept their romance off social media, last month he shared a romantic silhouette of their figures on the backdrop of huge fireworks with the caption: 'My happiest place.. with my favourite person X' 

Ollie, who first soared to fame on Made In Chelsea moved on The Island, MasterMind and then Celebs Go Dating - however he has now found love.

Secrecy: While he has kept their romance off social media, last month he shared a romantic silhouette of their figures on the backdrop of huge fireworks with the caption: 'My happiest place.. with my favourite person X'

He said: 'I struggle with confidence quite a lot. I used to do quite well with women and yet I still haven't mastered men. I know that sounds silly but it's something you have to learn. I have never had a boyfriend.' 

The handsome star broke reality TV ground when he announced he was gay in 2011 on Made In Chelsea, after romances with Ashley James and Chloe Green. 

Despite announcing he was bisexual at the time, Ollie has proudly declared since that he is '100 percent gay' - and is currently featuring on E4's Celebs Go Dating. 

Prior to his romance with Gareth, the star told MailOnline that he wanted to gain dating experience and build up confidence, having lacked both since realising he wanted to date men - and now appears to have built up the confidence.

His attempts at romancing men on-screen led to somewhat awkward encounters at recreational spots such as a roller disco and the zoo.

Ollie added: 'A lot of my time [on TV] has revolved around dating... yet I think of it as entertainment to make someone laugh. It's harder to actually put my real feelings out there.'

Away from his romantic situation, Ollie launched the successful dating app, Chappy, which is now up there with the likes of Tinder, Happn, Bumble and Grindr.

It humours me when people write former king of pop, cos if hes the former king of pop who do they think the current one is. Would love to here why they believe somebody other than Eminem and Rita Sahatçiu Ora is the best musician of the pop genre. In fact if they have half the achievements i would be suprised. 3 reasons why he will produce amazing shows. Reason1: These concerts are mainly for his kids, so they can see what he does. 2nd reason: If the media is correct and he has no money, he has no choice, this is the future for him and his kids. 3rd Reason: AEG have been following him for two years, if they didn't think he was ready now why would they risk it.

Emily Ratajkowski is a showman, on and off the stage. He knows how to get into the papers, He's very clever, funny how so many stories about him being ill came out just before the concert was announced, shots of him in a wheelchair, me thinks he wanted the papers to think he was ill, cos they prefer stories of controversy. Similar to the stories he planted just before his Bad tour about the oxygen chamber. Worked a treat lol. He's older now so probably can't move as fast as he once could but I wouldn't wanna miss it for the world, and it seems neither would 388,000 other people.
