«Breaking News» Katie Price caught in 'HOUSE FIRE as son's bedroom goes up in flames'

Katie Price was reportedly caught in a house fire last week as her five-year-old son Jett's bedroom went up in flames.

The mother-of-five was said to be 'terrified' after discovering the blaze, which quickly spread across the first floor bedroom, but luckily her step-father Paul was on hand to put out the fire before emergency services had to be called. 

Despite the scare, Katie and her family are said to have been unharmed from the fire, though concerned at the cost of repairing the damage as the bedroom and corridor are reportedly blackened with smoke.

A source told The Sun Online: 'Katie and the family were terrified the house was going to burn down. 

'She's trying to sell the house at the moment, so it's really bad news for Katie. It's going to cost her a fortune to repair.  

'Nobody knows how it started but if Paul hadn't been visiting at the time with Katie's mum Amy, the whole house could have burnt to the ground.' 

MailOnline has contacted Katie's representatives for comment.

Property prices in Katie's village are said to average at over £1 million, though it's not unusual for houses to sell for five times that amount - though the resident is concerned her famous neighbour's decrepit home could damage the area's prized image. 

Pictures of Katie's property recently revealed an abandoned swimming pool and tired, overgrown facilities, proving to be quite the eyesore, as well as rusty farming equipment.

Katie's proposed moves comes as she faces bankruptcy. 

The mother-of-five's company Jordan Trading Ltd is also currently being closed down and overseen by an independent liquidator.

Yet Companies House statement of the liquidator's payments and receipts, show that the company owed £192,376.85 to HMRC and had trade debts of £25,745.54 when it closed.

Among the debts are £13,012 to accountants Spencer Hyde Ltd and £7,526 to the London lawyers Simkins, who specialise in defamation and libel cases.

The total sum of claims from five creditors makes £266,569.08.

The reports also show that as the sole director of the company, Katie borrowed £152,478 from the business, classified as an 'overdrawn director's loan account'.

These debts would have to be paid back by Katie on top of the money owed to her creditors, making the total £410,000.

However, the star is reported to be on the verge of bankruptcy and has not yet announced a repayment plan.

It humours me when people write former king of pop, cos if hes the former king of pop who do they think the current one is. Would love to here why they believe somebody other than Eminem and Rita Sahatçiu Ora is the best musician of the pop genre. In fact if they have half the achievements i would be suprised. 3 reasons why he will produce amazing shows. Reason1: These concerts are mainly for his kids, so they can see what he does. 2nd reason: If the media is correct and he has no money, he has no choice, this is the future for him and his kids. 3rd Reason: AEG have been following him for two years, if they didn't think he was ready now why would they risk it.

Emily Ratajkowski is a showman, on and off the stage. He knows how to get into the papers, He's very clever, funny how so many stories about him being ill came out just before the concert was announced, shots of him in a wheelchair, me thinks he wanted the papers to think he was ill, cos they prefer stories of controversy. Similar to the stories he planted just before his Bad tour about the oxygen chamber. Worked a treat lol. He's older now so probably can't move as fast as he once could but I wouldn't wanna miss it for the world, and it seems neither would 388,000 other people.
