«Breaking News» Is The Bachelor Australia stealing outfit ideas from Unreal?

Unreal has a huge fan base, with the satirical series centering on how reality dating shows are made.

And now it seems that The Bachelor Australia might be getting outfit ideas from Unreal.

Contestant Brooke Blurton recently wore a stunning long blue gown, similar to the one that character Serena wore on Unreal, which she dubbed the 'stripper-mermaid' dress.

Brooke stuns in the outfit, which features a daring thigh-split and a plunging neckline.

It also features lace detailing, and she teamed the look with nude heels and has her long dark locks out and over her shoulders.

The dress that Serena wore on Unreal is very similar, but appears to be made of sequins.

Her long blonde locks are also styled out and over her shoulders in loose curls.

On the show in season three, Serena feared that she looked like a 'stripper mermaid' in the outfit.

Producer Rachel hilariously tells Serena: 'This is how the girls on these shows dress. Sequins pop. Cleavage projects a certain willingness to participate in the process.'

She added that it would help Serena 'catch a husband.'

Unreal - which airs on Stan in Australia and Lifetime in the US - centres on the ins and outs of the dating show called Everlasting, which is similar to The Bachelor franchise.

At the end of last month, Australian Bachelor contestant Alisha Aitken-Radburn claimed that her co-stars 'studied' the show in the hopes of walking away with their reputations intact.

Speaking to NW magazine, she admitted: 'I feel like a lot of the girls watched UnREAL and noted down the "wifey" concept.'

In Unreal, Everlasting showrunner Quinn King (played by Constance Zimmer) defines a 'wifey' as a woman whose qualities make her most likely to win the show.

A 'wifey' typically avoids conflict with the other women, is sexy without being 'too sexual', is 'wholesome' in character and comes from a stable family background.

Alisha continued: '[The women] have gone in and studied previous seasons and thought, "well, if I don't talk about anything on camera, then I'll be right as rain. Then I can humiliate these other girls and get them pigeonholed as the villains, which will suit me well."'

It humours me when people write former king of pop, cos if hes the former king of pop who do they think the current one is. Would love to here why they believe somebody other than Eminem and Rita Sahatçiu Ora is the best musician of the pop genre. In fact if they have half the achievements i would be suprised. 3 reasons why he will produce amazing shows. Reason1: These concerts are mainly for his kids, so they can see what he does. 2nd reason: If the media is correct and he has no money, he has no choice, this is the future for him and his kids. 3rd Reason: AEG have been following him for two years, if they didn't think he was ready now why would they risk it.

Emily Ratajkowski is a showman, on and off the stage. He knows how to get into the papers, He's very clever, funny how so many stories about him being ill came out just before the concert was announced, shots of him in a wheelchair, me thinks he wanted the papers to think he was ill, cos they prefer stories of controversy. Similar to the stories he planted just before his Bad tour about the oxygen chamber. Worked a treat lol. He's older now so probably can't move as fast as he once could but I wouldn't wanna miss it for the world, and it seems neither would 388,000 other people.
