«Breaking News» Woman searches for Tennessee couple who gave her family a place to sleep in 1999

A woman who was given a place to sleep by a kind family from Tennessee is now hoping to find the sweet strangers, 20 years later.

Cambrie Anderson, who lives in Louisville, Tennessee, took to Facebook to share the heartwarming story of some Good Samaritans who helped a family in need.

Anderson was just a teenager when her family and best friend Megan drove from Indianapolis to Florida for a vacation to Disney World.

'We ran out of money on the trip home and had nowhere to sleep the night we drove through Tennessee,' she wrote.

'Somehow, I befriended a family at a gas station and they graciously let us sleep at their house that night (it maybe have happened different, but that's how I remember it)'.

'Yes, we slept in the house of a complete stranger.'

Anderson posted a picture of the sweet family with the hopes someone on Facebook would be able to help identify them.

The photo shows a couple smiling for the camera, sat on the floor of their home with their three young children - two boys and one girl.

'There is probably zero chance I will find them, but hopefully social media can help,' Anderson wrote.

'Here is the family. All I know is they lived somewhere in Tennessee in 1999.'

The only thing Anderson remembers is that she and her family were driving back to Indianapolis from Florida.

She believes they were either off of I-64 north or I-24 west when they met the family.

'Other than that, I have no idea what part of Tennessee we were in,' she wrote.

'I am dying to know what led them to invite us into their home for the night,' she said.

'I guess I was a convincing teenager!'

The post has been shared more than 5,000 times. Anderson said five people have reached out but she has not yet been able to locate the family.

'It's a long shot,' she said. 'But I suppose crazier things have happened.'

Anderson ...

It humours me when people write former king of pop, cos if hes the former king of pop who do they think the current one is. Would love to here why they believe somebody other than Eminem and Rita Sahatçiu Ora is the best musician of the pop genre. In fact if they have half the achievements i would be suprised. 3 reasons why he will produce amazing shows. Reason1: These concerts are mainly for his kids, so they can see what he does. 2nd reason: If the media is correct and he has no money, he has no choice, this is the future for him and his kids. 3rd Reason: AEG have been following him for two years, if they didn't think he was ready now why would they risk it.

Emily Ratajkowski is a showman, on and off the stage. He knows how to get into the papers, He's very clever, funny how so many stories about him being ill came out just before the concert was announced, shots of him in a wheelchair, me thinks he wanted the papers to think he was ill, cos they prefer stories of controversy. Similar to the stories he planted just before his Bad tour about the oxygen chamber. Worked a treat lol. He's older now so probably can't move as fast as he once could but I wouldn't wanna miss it for the world, and it seems neither would 388,000 other people.
