«Breaking News» Twerking bride makes unforgettable entrance to her wedding reception

A Texas bride has become an internet sensation after she surprised her groom and guests with a twerking performance they would never forget. 

Stephanie Payne may have walked down the aisle in a dazzling gold gown - but when it was time to get her twerk on she made a dramatic costume change. 

Payne switched into shorts, a black crop top with red sparkles, and wore a Mardi Gras mask as she walked into the reception and began twerking for her guests.

She then did a front flip in knee-high stiletto boots, sticking the landing with ease before she ran into the splits straight onto the dance floor in front of her groom.

The crowd at the Houston wedding went wild for the surprise performance and the internet has had a similar reaction, helping video of Payne's dance go viral. 

Payne said she came up with the surprise because she wanted her guests and husband to 'enjoy a good show'.

'I remember all the lights flashing from everybody's cameras, everybody awing and and everybody oohing,' she told KTRK. 

'And just the moment I see my husband there. I wanted to wow him and I wanted everybody to be happy.'

The crowd went wild as Payne showed off her moves before launching into a few surprise tricks

Payne said her husband, Justin Payne, was completely taken by surprise with the routine. 

'He was in awe too,' she said. 'He got into it too.' 

While some have reacted negatively to the dance routine, Payne said she would tell them to be more open-minded and think outside the box. 

'Why would I want to be like someone else?' she said. 'Where is the action? Where is the happiness? Where is the party at? Where is the celebration?' 

Payne suddenly turned around and did a front flip while wearing her stiletto knee-high boots 

After sticking the landing she ran into the splits right on the dance floor in front of her groom

'It doesn't have to be mellow. Everything doesn't have to be so mediocre and to keep doing the same thing as tradition. Let's have a real good party!' 

And the twerking routine wasn't the only non-traditional aspect of Payne's wedding. 

Justin got his own chance to saunter down the aisle before Payne made her entrance, and even took a shot at the altar.  

And, after walking down the aisle in a gold wedding dress, Payne changed into a white backless floor-length gown for the reception before her surprise routine.

The bride revealed she had actually dreamed of wearing a red wedding dress, because it is both her and Justin's favorite colors. 

'I didn't want to get the traditional white gown,' she said. 'I wanted to be different and nontraditional. Most weddings I've seen, they didn't do any dress changes.' 

And the twerking routine wasn't the only non-traditional aspect of Payne's wedding. She skipped the traditional white gown for a gold gown while walking down the aisle

But one day, after trying dozens of dresses with no success, Payne discovered both the white and gold gowns.

'That's how I ended up with two dresses,' she recalled with a laugh. 

Payne, who dated Justin for eight years before their wedding day, said her guests were constantly surprised throughout the ceremony and reception.

'I don't think they were expecting anything that happened.'

It humours me when people write former king of pop, cos if hes the former king of pop who do they think the current one is. Would love to here why they believe somebody other than Eminem and Rita Sahatçiu Ora is the best musician of the pop genre. In fact if they have half the achievements i would be suprised. 3 reasons why he will produce amazing shows. Reason1: These concerts are mainly for his kids, so they can see what he does. 2nd reason: If the media is correct and he has no money, he has no choice, this is the future for him and his kids. 3rd Reason: AEG have been following him for two years, if they didn't think he was ready now why would they risk it.

Emily Ratajkowski is a showman, on and off the stage. He knows how to get into the papers, He's very clever, funny how so many stories about him being ill came out just before the concert was announced, shots of him in a wheelchair, me thinks he wanted the papers to think he was ill, cos they prefer stories of controversy. Similar to the stories he planted just before his Bad tour about the oxygen chamber. Worked a treat lol. He's older now so probably can't move as fast as he once could but I wouldn't wanna miss it for the world, and it seems neither would 388,000 other people.
