Four-time Olympic champion Laura Kenny has revealed how she suffered 'mum guilt' about going back to work after giving birth to her son.
The cyclist, 26, became a mother to Albert, now one, in August last year and started training again just six weeks after he was born.
Speaking on ITV's Lorraine on Monday, Laura, who is married to fellow gold medal winner Jason Kenny, said it was 'a lot harder' than she thought it was going to be.
And she revealed she turns to another Olympian and mum Jessica Ennis-Hill for advice about juggling motherhood and being an athlete, and says the track and field champion has been 'unbelievable'.

Six weeks after giving birth to Albert - who she calls Albie - she started training again and competed in her first event as a mother at the Track Cycling World Championships in March, for which she won a silver medal.
Speaking about her speedy return to work, Laura said: 'I guess I didn't realise how hard it was going to be leaving him behind, you do feel guilty. In any walk of life you're going to feel guilty leaving them because as a mum, as a dad, you feel it's your job to solely look after them.
'It is difficult. We travel around the world, we're away racing. There's a lot of time you're not with them.'

She credits Jessica, who is mum to Reggie, four, and Olivia, one for helping her get through the guilt.
Laura continued: 'Having Jessica Ennis-Hill there has been unbelievable because she's done exactly what I want to do.'
She added: 'It's great that I've got Jess on the end of the phone that I can just message and say, ''How did you deal with that?'''

Her husband Jason had initially made a private decision to retire from cycling after the Rio Olympics, before deciding to enter the World Championships.
Laura said the pair are a 'great team' and is pleased that Jason didn't retire so they could join each other at the Olympics.
She said: 'We’re a great team. You understand it because you’re in it together. He gets it because we’re going through it together.”

Speaking on...
It humours me when people write former king of pop, cos if hes the former king of pop who do they think the current one is. Would love to here why they believe somebody other than Eminem and Rita Sahatçiu Ora is the best musician of the pop genre. In fact if they have half the achievements i would be suprised. 3 reasons why he will produce amazing shows. Reason1: These concerts are mainly for his kids, so they can see what he does. 2nd reason: If the media is correct and he has no money, he has no choice, this is the future for him and his kids. 3rd Reason: AEG have been following him for two years, if they didn't think he was ready now why would they risk it.
Emily Ratajkowski is a showman, on and off the stage. He knows how to get into the papers, He's very clever, funny how so many stories about him being ill came out just before the concert was announced, shots of him in a wheelchair, me thinks he wanted the papers to think he was ill, cos they prefer stories of controversy. Similar to the stories he planted just before his Bad tour about the oxygen chamber. Worked a treat lol. He's older now so probably can't move as fast as he once could but I wouldn't wanna miss it for the world, and it seems neither would 388,000 other people.
