«Breaking News» Meghan uses clever styling trick to look more curvy

She's blessed with an enviably slim figure, but the Duchess of Sussex has found a clever way to instantly look more voluptuous.

Former Suits star Megha, 37, looked stunning this evening as she donned a royal blue dress by Jason Wu to attend the 100 Days to Peace concert to mark the centenary of the end of the First World War at Central Hall, Westminster with Harry.

The stylish gown featured soft pleats and ruffles down the front, instantly adding more shape to Meghan's slim figure.

Celebrity stylist Lucas Armitage told Femail: 'Her figure is quite athletic, straight up and down. So pleats add curves and shape for a more feminine silhouette.'

It's a trick Meghan has used on several previous occasions, most recently wearing a Club Monaco dress with a pleated skirt for the wedding of Harry's pal Charlie van Straubenzee last month.

The Duke and Duchess of Sussex’s schedule has been jam-packed over the past few days, attending Hamilton in the West End, as well as the WellChild Awards.

Tonight the pair made another appearance, this time at the 100 Days to Peace gala, held at Central Hall Westminster.

Steering away from the black colour palette favoured as of late, Meghan opted for a rich blue dress by Jason Wu, teamed with embellished sandals by Aquazzura.

Her gorgeous dress incorporates soft pleats and ruffles, creating a chic ladylike aesthetic that was perfectly suited to the evening event.

Tonight's event is being held to support three charities which work with veterans who are facing mental health challenges - Help for Heroes, Combat Stress and the royals' mental health initiative Heads Together.

The first half will include two performances by Lesley Garrett; 'He Wishes for the Cloths of Heaven' – a poem by WB Yeats published in 1899, and the opening lines from ‘For the Fallen’, written by Laurence Binyon in 1914 and adapted by Sir Karl for 100 Days to Peace.

It will also bring together Samuel Bordoli's The Great Silence, written in memory of choristers killed in the First World War, with the charity Remembered, featuring their 2018 Armistice installation 'There But Not There'.

For the second half, Sir Karl Jenkins will conduct his internationally acclaimed The Armed Man: A Mass for Peace, performed by the Royal Choral Society and the Philharmonia Orchestra.

Originally commissioned by the Royal Armouries to mark the turn of the millennium to create a legacy of peace and hope for the future, this will be the only performance of The Armed Man in England in 2018 to be conducted by Sir Karl himself.

The music will be performed against a backdrop of Hefin Owen’s film of The Armed Man.

Harry and Meghan will have a chance to meet performers and representatives of the charities during the interval of tonight's concert.

Veterans' mental health is a cause particularly close to Harry's heart.

Since leaving the Army in 2015, the Prince has focused his work on the creation of the Invictus Games for wounded service personnel.

And he's collaborated with his brother and sister-in-law the Duchess of Cambridge on Heads Together, a campaign which seeks to challenge the stigma of mental health problems.

It's been a busy week for the couple who are getting back into the swing of royal duties after their summer break.

On Tuesday night they attended the annual WellChild awards which honours the courage of seriously ill children and their families.

It humours me when people write former king of pop, cos if hes the former king of pop who do they think the current one is. Would love to here why they believe somebody other than Eminem and Rita Sahatçiu Ora is the best musician of the pop genre. In fact if they have half the achievements i would be suprised. 3 reasons why he will produce amazing shows. Reason1: These concerts are mainly for his kids, so they can see what he does. 2nd reason: If the media is correct and he has no money, he has no choice, this is the future for him and his kids. 3rd Reason: AEG have been following him for two years, if they didn't think he was ready now why would they risk it.

Emily Ratajkowski is a showman, on and off the stage. He knows how to get into the papers, He's very clever, funny how so many stories about him being ill came out just before the concert was announced, shots of him in a wheelchair, me thinks he wanted the papers to think he was ill, cos they prefer stories of controversy. Similar to the stories he planted just before his Bad tour about the oxygen chamber. Worked a treat lol. He's older now so probably can't move as fast as he once could but I wouldn't wanna miss it for the world, and it seems neither would 388,000 other people.
