«Breaking News» Ending on a high? Pink returns to Australia to finish disastrous tour after hospitalisation

It's safe to say the Australian leg of Pink's Beautiful Trauma hasn't been the smoothest of runs.

After landing Down Under at the start of July, the 39-year-old is finally set to finish her 42 Oceania shows this week after suffering back-to-back setbacks.

The singer will perform three final shows at Sydney's Qudos Bank Arena this week, which were pushed back from August, before bidding goodbye to Australia.

Ahead of the final three shows, which kick off on Monday in the NSW capital, Pink shared a family picture on a beach somewhere in the country on Sunday.

Alongside children Jameson and Willow, she wrote: 'Heaven isn't too far away.'

Pink then shared a solo shot of Jameson sprawled across the golden sand, captioned: 'I [love] my little hermit crab, who loves his little hermit crab.'

The singer had already postponed several show prior to this diagnosis, and was forced to push back even more while she recovered.

After later returning to the stage and fighting fit once again, the performer's husband Carey Hart then caused controversy after an incident in Brisbane.

Carey had a heated altercation with a woman at a Brisbane petrol station, who accused the motocross rider of putting everyone's 'life in danger' while using his mobile phone at the pump. 

'I just got into an argument with a woman at a gas station in Brisbane,' he began while recounting the incident on Instagram on August 22.

'She told me I was putting everyone's life in danger by using my phone at the gas station pump,' he continued.

The woman appeared to reference the common belief that radio frequency can ignite petrol fumes. 

Carey's Instagram post divided his followers, with some hitting out at the heavily tattooed sportsman.

'In the UK petrol stations won't unlock the pump if you're using your phone. It's normal here to not use your phone while filling up,' one wrote.

'Wanna know how glamorous tour can be? Jameson has hand, foot, and mouth; and willow has a 102 temp,' Carey later revealed both of their children had fallen ill as Pink continued to tour

Both of Pink and Carey's two children were then struck down with illness at the end of August as the singer continued to tour the country.

Carey wrote online: 'Wanna know how glamorous tour can be? Jameson has hand, foot, and mouth; and willow has a 102 temp.'

'Both kids laid up and mama still has to push through and do shows.'

As the star then headed over to New Zealand to play a string of shows, the drama continued during her stay in Auckland. 

The singer condemned a local bar to her 31 million Twitter followers, writing: 'Man, I've been to some cool bars around the world, and Dead shot [sic] on Ponsonby Rd is not one of them.' 

Despite giving no explanation to her post, Deadshot bar manager Heather Garland told Stuff.co.nz that Pink had not even visited the bar: 'We actually didn't see Pink at all, but we would have loved to have her in.'

'We did have some of her crew come in a couple of nights this week. They were lovely and we had a great time with them,' Heather said.

Happier times: It hasn't all been gloom though, with Pink documenting many happier moments throughout her stay on social media

Heather also said she had spoken to a member of Pink's crew, who was organising an after-party, and explained they simply did not have the space to accommodate the star's entourage.

'We suggested a few of our favourite bars to try and offered to ring around and find a venue to host them, however they came anyway and we unfortunately had to turn them away,' she added.

'Unfortunately as we are a very small, seated service cocktail bar we just didn't have enough space for the 30 people who showed up for an after-party. We usually only take groups of six or less.'

It hasn't all been gloom though, with Pink documenting many happier moments throughout her stay on social media - including feeding a kangaroo with Jameson.

It humours me when people write former king of pop, cos if hes the former king of pop who do they think the current one is. Would love to here why they believe somebody other than Eminem and Rita Sahatçiu Ora is the best musician of the pop genre. In fact if they have half the achievements i would be suprised. 3 reasons why he will produce amazing shows. Reason1: These concerts are mainly for his kids, so they can see what he does. 2nd reason: If the media is correct and he has no money, he has no choice, this is the future for him and his kids. 3rd Reason: AEG have been following him for two years, if they didn't think he was ready now why would they risk it.

Emily Ratajkowski is a showman, on and off the stage. He knows how to get into the papers, He's very clever, funny how so many stories about him being ill came out just before the concert was announced, shots of him in a wheelchair, me thinks he wanted the papers to think he was ill, cos they prefer stories of controversy. Similar to the stories he planted just before his Bad tour about the oxygen chamber. Worked a treat lol. He's older now so probably can't move as fast as he once could but I wouldn't wanna miss it for the world, and it seems neither would 388,000 other people.
