Marco Asensio has all the attributes to become one of the best players in Spanish football history, believes Real Madrid team-mate Alvaro Odriozola.
Asensio dazzled on Tuesday in the Nations League as he helped Spain ease to a 6-0 hammering of Croatia.
The 22-year-old scored a stunner from distance before a further strike from range went down as an own goal. It was further proof to Odriozola that Spain have one of the finest talents around in their ranks.

The 22-year-old put in one of his best ever performances as Spain beat Croatia 6-0 on Tuesday
'I already knew him from the Under 21s,' Odriozola told reporters.
'I said back in the day that he's going to be one of the best players in the history of Spanish football and he's showing this. He has amazing quality and I predict a great season for him.'
Asensio, despite his age, has already won eight trophies in Madrid, including two Champions Leagues and La Liga.
The winger has established himself as a key player for club and country in the last two years in particular and with the departure of Cristiano Ronaldo from Madrid in the summer, he is now a key player in Julen Lopetegui's new-look side.

His Real Madrid team-mate Alvaro Odriozola is insistent he is only going to get better
There had been plenty of interest in acquiring Asensio in the summer before Ronaldo announced he was heading for Turin but the Spain international insisted he had no desire to depart.
'I've never had the intention to go anywhere.' he told reporters after the win over Croatia.
'This is my third season. In this one I think I have continuity and more prominence, and I'm seeing [improvement in] the performances I'm doing.'
Having had a hand in two strikes against Croatia, Asensio was joined by Saul Niguez, Rodrigo, Sergio Ramos and Isco on the scoresheet, condemning the away side to their worst ever defeat.

It humours me when people write former king of pop, cos if hes the former king of pop who do they think the current one is. Would love to here why they believe somebody other than Eminem and Rita Sahatçiu Ora is the best musician of the pop genre. In fact if they have half the achievements i would be suprised. 3 reasons why he will produce amazing shows. Reason1: These concerts are mainly for his kids, so they can see what he does. 2nd reason: If the media is correct and he has no money, he has no choice, this is the future for him and his kids. 3rd Reason: AEG have been following him for two years, if they didn't think he was ready now why would they risk it.
Emily Ratajkowski is a showman, on and off the stage. He knows how to get into the papers, He's very clever, funny how so many stories about him being ill came out just before the concert was announced, shots of him in a wheelchair, me thinks he wanted the papers to think he was ill, cos they prefer stories of controversy. Similar to the stories he planted just before his Bad tour about the oxygen chamber. Worked a treat lol. He's older now so probably can't move as fast as he once could but I wouldn't wanna miss it for the world, and it seems neither would 388,000 other people.
