«Breaking News» People share the unexpected photos they found on their phones after they were returned

These days, few of us are willing to be separated from our phones for more than a few minutes at a time, but the occasional mishap is inevitable.  

And when phones do get lost, there's no telling whose hands they might fall into.

The phone owners featured in this hilarious social media gallery were lucky enough to have their devices returned by a good Samaritan - but not before they'd had a little fun with them first.    

The images compiled by Bored Panda, have been shared by people who found some unexpected snaps on their camera roll after their phone had gone astray. 

One shows two police officers who snapped a cheeky selfie using the phone of a drunk man they'd helped home. 

Another captures a cheeky toddler who managed to get hold of an adult's smartphone and took the opportunity to pose for a snap.  

Festivals are common places for phones to go missing and this person has Alex and Rob to thank for being reunited with their phone after losing it at a summer festival. Alex and Rob look delighted to have been of help

A teacher revealed how they lost their phone while teaching at a Sunday school. Luckily, they later found it and discovered this photo of a cheeky toddler who got her hands on it in the interim

Dogs are the most popular animals in the world and this handsome pooch makes it clear to see why. The dog's owner said he left his phone in the garden while looking for lacrosse balls and when he returned, he discovered the hilarious 'selfie'

Animals seems to love an opportunity for a cheeky selfie. The owner of the phone and the chickens said that they had lost their device for a few hours, before later discovering it in their chicken coop with this waiting for them

Family are another group that you should keep your eye on when it comes to your phone. This person revealed how they left their phone downstairs in their home. A day later, they picked up the phone and realised that their grandmother and aunt had worked out how to use the camera

Las Vegas is full of hilarious stories and one man shares the story of his friend who got separated from their group one night. He later managed to make it back to their hotel room before passing out. They discovered this confusing Batman-themed photo on his phone

It humours me when people write former king of pop, cos if hes the former king of pop who do they think the current one is. Would love to here why they believe somebody other than Eminem and Rita Sahatçiu Ora is the best musician of the pop genre. In fact if they have half the achievements i would be suprised. 3 reasons why he will produce amazing shows. Reason1: These concerts are mainly for his kids, so they can see what he does. 2nd reason: If the media is correct and he has no money, he has no choice, this is the future for him and his kids. 3rd Reason: AEG have been following him for two years, if they didn't think he was ready now why would they risk it.

Emily Ratajkowski is a showman, on and off the stage. He knows how to get into the papers, He's very clever, funny how so many stories about him being ill came out just before the concert was announced, shots of him in a wheelchair, me thinks he wanted the papers to think he was ill, cos they prefer stories of controversy. Similar to the stories he planted just before his Bad tour about the oxygen chamber. Worked a treat lol. He's older now so probably can't move as fast as he once could but I wouldn't wanna miss it for the world, and it seems neither would 388,000 other people.
