But once the doors are opened a four bedroom seaside oasis is unveiled, complete with a stunning outdoor kitchen, large dining table that could fit a family of ten and walls of visible storage to give the home a 'cosy' feeling.  

Situated along the Tutukaka coast in New Zealand, this house - which starts off lean on one side of the property and gradually expands into the shape of a horn - is the perfect holiday escape and is designed as a refuge from the busy city lives of its owners.

Designed by Crosson Architects in Auckland the house boasts a number of scenic views, with spaces like the bedrooms and living room oriented around these specific panoramas.    

The open-plan nature of the house and expansive deck doors mean that the exterior and interior blend together seamlessly, with part of the kitchen and BBQ space only offered outside.

For those colder nights there is a fireplace to settle around and the shutters can work to block out cooler winds.  

The materials used to make this humble sanctuary are almost exclusively timber-based with stained cedar shiplap cladding and hoop-pine plywood walls and ceiling linings helping to moderate the temperatures.

The exposed structure inside is saligna wood and the flooring is kwila.  

The lack of carpet means that little feet who drag in sand from the beach won't leave a lasting mess - so long as you invest in a good quality broom.

If you're worried about security, the home 'closes down' with the use of sliding panels and hinged shutters so you can have peace of mind even when you're frolicking in the ocean. 

With plenty of hiding spaces included - and having won two separate design awards - it's both an adult and children's delight, with one lucky family able to call it home.

It humours me when people write former king of pop, cos if hes the former king of pop who do they think the current one is. Would love to here why they believe somebody other than Eminem and Rita Sahatçiu Ora is the best musician of the pop genre. In fact if they have half the achievements i would be suprised. 3 reasons why he will produce amazing shows. Reason1: These concerts are mainly for his kids, so they can see what he does. 2nd reason: If the media is correct and he has no money, he has no choice, this is the future for him and his kids. 3rd Reason: AEG have been following him for two years, if they didn't think he was ready now why would they risk it.

Emily Ratajkowski is a showman, on and off the stage. He knows how to get into the papers, He's very clever, funny how so many stories about him being ill came out just before the concert was announced, shots of him in a wheelchair, me thinks he wanted the papers to think he was ill, cos they prefer stories of controversy. Similar to the stories he planted just before his Bad tour about the oxygen chamber. Worked a treat lol. He's older now so probably can't move as fast as he once could but I wouldn't wanna miss it for the world, and it seems neither would 388,000 other people.
