Lee Ryan has defended Roxanne Pallett as he claimed she could be suffering from 'paranoid delusions' and expressed fears that she might try to kill herself.
The Emmerdale actress, 35, has been at the centre of a media storm after branding her CBB co-star Ryan Thomas a 'woman beater' when he 'punched her' during a play fight.
The Blue singer begged fans of the soap star to stop 'ripping her apart' and said 'mental health' issues could explain why Roxanne 'over-exaggerated' the incident.

Lee made the comments on Instagram when he saw some of his followers discussing the 'punch' row.
He wrote: 'Not saying what she did was right at all…but nor is kicking the s**t out of someone who is troubled and clearly needs professional help.'
He added: 'It's awful and I've had it done to me in a similar way. But it's still not OK for people to go at her like this.
'What if she kills herself through the onslaught? Is that OK? It's not, she's not well.'

It comes after Roxanne quit her Breakfast radio show, which she began in February 2018, alongside Ben Fry.
Meanwhile, a spokesperson for Emmerdale confirmed that they 'will not be bringing her back' to the soap and it has also been revealed that she has stepped down from her forthcoming panto, whilst Roxanne has reportedly vowed to turn her back on showbusiness amid the scandal.
Roxanne, who quit CBB and left the mansion on Saturday morning, has been met with a huge outcry in the wake of her 'punching' scandal.

And as she attempts to win back the public with interviews grovelling for forgiveness, it has been announced that she has been dropped from her radio presenting role.
A statement from the radio station said: 'As a result of discussions today with her representatives, Minster FM can confirm that Roxanne Pallett has stepped down from her position at the station with immediate effect to take some time out and reflect on recent events.
'Roxanne will not be returning to Minster FM,' it was concluded.

And despite the brunette admitting in 2016 that Emmerdale bosses had asked her to return to the show, a spokesperson for the show has revealed that it will never happen.
'There are no plans, nor have there been, to bring back the character of Jo Sugden,' it was announced.
Two years ago, Roxanne claimed: 'Emmerdale was everything an actor could dream of - it's one of my most cherished roles and I'd love to go back at some point.
'They asked me back a couple of years ago and it broke my heart because I was shooting a film. It was bad luck and bad timing,' she revealed.

She was set to star in Cinderella at the Pomegranate theatre alongside former X Factor star Rhydian Roberts.
A spokesperson for Chesterfield council, which owns and manages the Pomegranate Theatre, told MailOnline: 'We are aware of the public and media reaction to Roxanne Pallett's recent appearance on Big Brother.
'The council is currently in talks with Paul Holman Associates.'
With Roxanne losing work at a rapid rate, it's said that is set to lose over £100,000 from lucrative acting roles.

Yet it seems Roxanne won't be looking for any more roles to cover the costs, as she is reportedly turning her back on showbusiness.
A source told The Sun Online: 'Roxanne will turn her back on showbiz. She understands she's upset many people and wants to step out of the spotlight to focus on herself.
'She's not interested in anything to do with fame now and is convinced time away is the best thing for her.'

When asked by Emma whether she felt she could be forgiven for the ordeal, the ex-Emmerdale star said: 'I would hope that I could be [forgiven].'

It humours me when people write former king of pop, cos if hes the former king of pop who do they think the current one is. Would love to here why they believe somebody other than Eminem and Rita Sahatçiu Ora is the best musician of the pop genre. In fact if they have half the achievements i would be suprised. 3 reasons why he will produce amazing shows. Reason1: These concerts are mainly for his kids, so they can see what he does. 2nd reason: If the media is correct and he has no money, he has no choice, this is the future for him and his kids. 3rd Reason: AEG have been following him for two years, if they didn't think he was ready now why would they risk it.
Emily Ratajkowski is a showman, on and off the stage. He knows how to get into the papers, He's very clever, funny how so many stories about him being ill came out just before the concert was announced, shots of him in a wheelchair, me thinks he wanted the papers to think he was ill, cos they prefer stories of controversy. Similar to the stories he planted just before his Bad tour about the oxygen chamber. Worked a treat lol. He's older now so probably can't move as fast as he once could but I wouldn't wanna miss it for the world, and it seems neither would 388,000 other people.
