«Breaking Pic News» GQ Men of the Year: Dua Lipa displays her wild side in edgy leopard print minidress

On a red carpet devoted to high fashion it was Dua Lipa who stood out as the GQ Men of the Year Awards got underway at London’s Tate Modern on Wednesday evening.

The British singer caught the eye in a distinctive leopard print mindress ahead of the star-studded event.

With a thigh-skimming detail, the off-the-shoulder outfit ensured Dua claimed her fair share of the spotlight as she posed for photos.

Strappy Yves Saint Laurent heels added to the striking look, while an elegant black clutch rounded things off.

Allowing her outfit to dominate, the singer limited her accessories to simple gold bracelets and a matching watch.

Dua had good company on the night in the form of boyfriend Isaac Carew, and the couple looked close as they posed for photos.

The GQ Men of the Year Awards is an annual event celebrating and recognising ‘inspirational men and women of the last 12 months’.

Comedian and actor Rob Delaney is hosting this year’s awards ceremony. The actor is most famous for his Channel 4 show Catastrophe, as well as the short-but-sweet appearance in Deadpool 2.

This year’s categories are not overwhelmingly different from last year’s, yet categories such as Special Achievement of the Year or the Creative Maverick of the Year and Band of the Year have been changed slightly.

Rose McGowan will become the first woman in the history of the awards to receive the Inspiration prize, in recognition of her ‘strength and bravery’ following her role in breaking the Harvey Weinstein story and subsequent involvement in the #MeToo movement.

Dylan Jones, Editor of GQ said: 'This award recognises the sheer strength and bravery Rose McGowan has shown in coming forward and being one of the first to publicly accuse an industry figure head of grossly abusing his position of power.

'Rose is the absolute embodiment of this award and it will be great to watch her receive the award next month.'

With a thigh-skimming det...

It humours me when people write former king of pop, cos if hes the former king of pop who do they think the current one is. Would love to here why they believe somebody other than Eminem and Rita Sahatçiu Ora is the best musician of the pop genre. In fact if they have half the achievements i would be suprised. 3 reasons why he will produce amazing shows. Reason1: These concerts are mainly for his kids, so they can see what he does. 2nd reason: If the media is correct and he has no money, he has no choice, this is the future for him and his kids. 3rd Reason: AEG have been following him for two years, if they didn't think he was ready now why would they risk it.

Emily Ratajkowski is a showman, on and off the stage. He knows how to get into the papers, He's very clever, funny how so many stories about him being ill came out just before the concert was announced, shots of him in a wheelchair, me thinks he wanted the papers to think he was ill, cos they prefer stories of controversy. Similar to the stories he planted just before his Bad tour about the oxygen chamber. Worked a treat lol. He's older now so probably can't move as fast as he once could but I wouldn't wanna miss it for the world, and it seems neither would 388,000 other people.
