Never a man to shy away from bold statements, Zlatan Ibrahimovic has posted an incredible montage of some his greatest strikes to mark his 500th career goal.
The veteran Swedish striker achieved the milestone with an outrageous roundhouse kick volley but it wasn't enough to prevent the Los Angeles Galaxy losing 5-3 at Toronto on Saturday night.
Ibrahimovic initially took to Twitter afterwards to celebrate, posting a film poster style graphic that read 'Zlatan: God of Goals' along with the caption '500'. He has now gone further by sharing a short clip of some of his most memorable strikes in storybook fashion.

The clip features a goal from every club he has played for in his career. It begins back at boyhood club Malmo and an effort that flies into the top corner. Ajax was his next destination and the film features the stunning effort that saw him beat a host of NAC Breda defenders and finish well.
From there he moved to Italian giants Juventus and scored a delightful goal, in which he controlled a loose pass on the edge of the box before swivelling and volleying into the back of the net.
Next up was a move across Italy to Inter Milan and his time there featured another trademark Zlatan strike. He scored the winner in a 4-3 epic against Atalanta with a sumptuous back heel after shrugging off two defenders.

Next up was a typical Ibrahimovic acrobatic effort from his time at Serie A giants Juventus
It also included a sublime back heel when playing for another Italian side in Inter Milan
Zlatan scored a number of goals in a successful spell at PS, including a backheel at Marseille
Despite only playing at Manchester United briefly, his chip against Everton made the montage
A free-kick from his time at Barcelona also made the cut before he delved into his box of acrobatic skills for the first time at AC Milan.
Just before half-time in a tight Serie A game against Fiorentina, Ibrahimovic took down a cross, lifted it back into the air and then produced a stunning bicycle kick to clip it back into the far corner.
He then moved to France for a spell at Paris Saint-Germain and it was there he scored an outrageous goal from a corner at Marseille. Ibrahimovic managed to fight off a defender and produce a kung-fu type kick to send the ball flying into the net.
Despite his dominance at club level, it is also important to remember his incredible international career. There was only really one effort that could make the cut from his days in the Swedish yellow and it is, of course, that outrageous overhead kick he netted against England in 2012.
Former Manchester United team-mate Paul Pogba sent Ibrahimovic his own congratulations
The penultimate clip shows Ibrahimovic during his short spell at Manchester United and features the delicate chip he pulled off at Everton in Decemeber 2016. It then concludes with one of his early strikes during his short stay in California.
Former Old Trafford team-mate Paul Pogba also paid his own special tribute to Ibrahimovic in a short video on Instagram.
Wearing a LA Galaxy kit, the Frenchman made reference to his acrobatic skills: 'Zlatan, I don't know if I have to say the lion or the cat, the dog but respect Zlatan, respect.
'They tell you to play football and you watch too much Jackie Chan, Bruce Lee, Jet Li and try to kick the ball scorpion-like or whatever.'

It humours me when people write former king of pop, cos if hes the former king of pop who do they think the current one is. Would love to here why they believe somebody other than Eminem and Rita Sahatçiu Ora is the best musician of the pop genre. In fact if they have half the achievements i would be suprised. 3 reasons why he will produce amazing shows. Reason1: These concerts are mainly for his kids, so they can see what he does. 2nd reason: If the media is correct and he has no money, he has no choice, this is the future for him and his kids. 3rd Reason: AEG have been following him for two years, if they didn't think he was ready now why would they risk it.
Emily Ratajkowski is a showman, on and off the stage. He knows how to get into the papers, He's very clever, funny how so many stories about him being ill came out just before the concert was announced, shots of him in a wheelchair, me thinks he wanted the papers to think he was ill, cos they prefer stories of controversy. Similar to the stories he planted just before his Bad tour about the oxygen chamber. Worked a treat lol. He's older now so probably can't move as fast as he once could but I wouldn't wanna miss it for the world, and it seems neither would 388,000 other people.
