Discussing his death she told The Mirror: 'I will never forget how the world swallowed me up on that day when I found out.'

The mother-of-three then explained that J-Sol's original song forced her to confront the grief she's buried for several years.

'When he sang the first note, I was like, "Oh my God, here we go",' she said.

'It touched me. I feel I needed to hear that song. I needed to feel some things I wasn't ready to deal with. I was grateful.'

Ayda's parents, Hollywood film producer Gwen Field and advertising agency boss Haldun were married for four years between 1978 and 1982.

They split when she was three and he went to Istanbul. Haydun then remarried and had daughters, Ilgi, 30, and Oyku, 26 - who Ayda met for the first time 10 years ago.

Ayda had no contact with Haydun until she was 18, although he said he fought a legal battle to be able to see her.

She was reunited with her dad during an emotional phone call just before she married Robbie in the US in 2010.

Haldun later said: 'I told her I didn't give her much and certainly not as much love as I would have liked and that will haunt me.'

He had offered to throw Ayda a second wedding in Turkey as he would not be at the first.

She couldn't fly to his funeral in 2014 because she was seven months pregnant with her second child Charlton Valentine.

Although Ayda has lost her father, she has reunited with the 'secret family' she never knew existed for almost two decades.

The beauty has formed a close bond with her two lookalike half-sisters Ilgi and Oyku, who she met up with London - and Ayda was even invited to Ilgi's wedding.

‘After spending essentially a lifetime apart, Ayda is really happy to be getting to know her sisters properly,' a friend told MailOnline.

'She didn't speak to her dad between the ages of three and 18 and by then she'd missed much of her sister's childhoods.

'But the way they get along now it's like they grew up together. She talks about her 'sisters' and there is a real love between them.'

J-Sol, from East London, whose previous musical experience includes opening for Boyz II Men, left the other X Factor judges equally emotional with his performance.

Louis Tomlinson, whose mother Johannah Deakin, 43, passed away from leukaemia in 2016, said: 'Such a beautiful song that has touched us all on this panel.'

And the ...

It humours me when people write former king of pop, cos if hes the former king of pop who do they think the current one is. Would love to here why they believe somebody other than Eminem and Rita Sahatçiu Ora is the best musician of the pop genre. In fact if they have half the achievements i would be suprised. 3 reasons why he will produce amazing shows. Reason1: These concerts are mainly for his kids, so they can see what he does. 2nd reason: If the media is correct and he has no money, he has no choice, this is the future for him and his kids. 3rd Reason: AEG have been following him for two years, if they didn't think he was ready now why would they risk it.

Emily Ratajkowski is a showman, on and off the stage. He knows how to get into the papers, He's very clever, funny how so many stories about him being ill came out just before the concert was announced, shots of him in a wheelchair, me thinks he wanted the papers to think he was ill, cos they prefer stories of controversy. Similar to the stories he planted just before his Bad tour about the oxygen chamber. Worked a treat lol. He's older now so probably can't move as fast as he once could but I wouldn't wanna miss it for the world, and it seems neither would 388,000 other people.
