«Breaking News» Woman, 63, murders her husband with a baseball bat

Deborah Stephens, 63, confessed to killing her husband James, 65, to their son on Thursday after beating the older man to death with a baseball bat

A 63-year-old woman has been arrested for the murder of her husband after confessing to their adult son that she'd hit him over the head with a baseball bat. 

Deborah Stephens was at home with her 65-year-old husband James in York Springs, Pennsylvania, on Wednesday when she attacked him at 6pm. 

The next day, their 42-year-old son, who is also called James, went to their home after becoming worried when Deborah did not show up to the office they share at Yazoo Mills paper mill. 

When he got there, she 'peeked out' from behind the door and told him: 'I hit your father with a baseball bat and he is dead.' The son called police immediately.

Officer took Deborah to the hospital and then arrested her.

She has not yet offered a motive for the killing. 

Police previously visited the couple's home on August 21 on a domestic violence charge when she allegedly hit her husband with the TV remote. 

Stephens slashed her own wrists after killing her husband and was taken to hospital by police after her son, James, 42, (right) showed up at her home and called 911 

At the time of her arrest, Deborah had blood spattered on her shoes. 

She had slashed her wrists, in an apparent attempt to take her life, but was not otherwise injured. 

Before going to his parents' home, the couple's son called police to ask if either of them had been arrested. 

He told officers they had been having marital problems and had been frequently arguing. 

Debora was booked into county jail and was held without bond.

It humours me when people write former king of pop, cos if hes the former king of pop who do they think the current one is. Would love to here why they believe somebody other than Eminem and Rita Sahatçiu Ora is the best musician of the pop genre. In fact if they have half the achievements i would be suprised. 3 reasons why he will produce amazing shows. Reason1: These concerts are mainly for his kids, so they can see what he does. 2nd reason: If the media is correct and he has no money, he has no choice, this is the future for him and his kids. 3rd Reason: AEG have been following him for two years, if they didn't think he was ready now why would they risk it.

Emily Ratajkowski is a showman, on and off the stage. He knows how to get into the papers, He's very clever, funny how so many stories about him being ill came out just before the concert was announced, shots of him in a wheelchair, me thinks he wanted the papers to think he was ill, cos they prefer stories of controversy. Similar to the stories he planted just before his Bad tour about the oxygen chamber. Worked a treat lol. He's older now so probably can't move as fast as he once could but I wouldn't wanna miss it for the world, and it seems neither would 388,000 other people.
