Mike Tyson's former trainer Teddy Atlas described the decision to award Canelo Alvarez the victory against Gennady Golovkin as 'a robbery'.
Alvarez claimed a majority decision in the Las Vegas grudge match, with the judges' scorecards reading 114-114 115-113 115-113.
As reported by ESPN, Atlas - who has also worked with the likes of Michael Moorer, Barry McGuigan, Alexander Povetkin and Timothy Bradley in the past - said: 'That's doing a robbery without leaving fingerprints. It was an effective robbery. I don't care if it's by two points, or a hundred points.'

Atlas added that he felt Golovkin was controlling the fight and deserved to win.
He said: 'I had Golovkin 117-112.
'There's two ways to fight to fight as the naturally bigger guy.
'You can either fight as going inside and imposing your body on the other guy, or you fight on the outside and use the jab, control the range and make the smaller guy take all the chances.
'That's what Golovkin made Canelo do tonight. He fought like the bigger guy. He was controlling the fight with that jab.
'He fought tall, long, using his jab… Hey, he won that fight. I don't give a damn what people say.'
Sportsmail's boxing correspondent Jeff Powell, at ringside, scored the contest 116-113 in favour of Golovkin, but underlined the fine margins in the fight.
Powell wrote: 'I had him winning 116-113. But some of the rounds were close and the prize only fell to Alvarez by dint of the scoring of the last round.
'Two of the judges gave the 12th to Canelo and that score prevented another draw, albeit a less contentious one this time.
'So we ended up with two official cards of 115-113 with the third equal.
'Fair enough, perhaps, given the closeness of some rounds but Golovkin's immediate angst was understandable.'

Much of the boxing world hailed Alvarez and the quality of the fight.
Amir Khan led the praise for Alvarez following his victory over Golovkin.
The Mexican won the rematch on points following a frenetic encounter as Golovkin suffered the first defeat of his career.
Khan was impressed by the quality of the fight and lauded Canelo for his gameplan.
Khan tweeted: 'What a fight. I gave the fight to Canelo. It was toe-to-toe action. Very exciting. Canelo surprised us all with the come forward pressure game plan. Well done to both Canelo and GGG. Boxing needed this.'

Northern Irish featherweight Michael Conlan also praised Canelo, who he felt was the deserved winner.
Conlan tweeted: 'I don't think it was robbery, had Canelo winning and I really wanted Triple-G to win.
'Some very close rounds that could have gone either way. Canelo's body work, sharp counters and punch output stole it for me. Great fight with two great champions!'
Carl Frampton judged it 116-113 in favour of Golovkin. He wrote on Twitter: 'In hindsight a lot of the rounds were close. I edged GGG but can we please applaud the smaller man Canelo's chin.'
Caleb Truax tweeted: 'Canelo never took a step backwards the entire fight, landed the cleaner power shots, and worked the body all 12 rds. Deserving winner. Great fight. GGG is a warrior.' [sic]
Former heavyweight world champion George Foreman said: 'Canelo Brave as a Bull! Congrats! Made a puncher Box. I didn't expect this. Need one more between these great fighters.'
Manny Pacquiao saluted Golovkin, tweeting: 'GGG is a warrior'.
He added: 'Way better fight than the first time around', 'The best against the best. What a fight!' and 'Nothing like two iconic fighters going toe to toe for twelve rounds.'
Olympic gold medallist Audley Harrison wrote: 'I just can't see that result - Canelo did a great job but he didn't do enough to win in my opinion. Great fight, but GGG can feel that decision should have gone his way. No third fight for at least a year guys (long rest).'
LA Lakers basketball star LeBron James tweeted: 'One of the best fights I've ever seen!! Ultimate competitors in Canelo and Triple-G!! Salute to the both of you. Could watch y'all fight any day.'

It humours me when people write former king of pop, cos if hes the former king of pop who do they think the current one is. Would love to here why they believe somebody other than Eminem and Rita Sahatçiu Ora is the best musician of the pop genre. In fact if they have half the achievements i would be suprised. 3 reasons why he will produce amazing shows. Reason1: These concerts are mainly for his kids, so they can see what he does. 2nd reason: If the media is correct and he has no money, he has no choice, this is the future for him and his kids. 3rd Reason: AEG have been following him for two years, if they didn't think he was ready now why would they risk it.
Emily Ratajkowski is a showman, on and off the stage. He knows how to get into the papers, He's very clever, funny how so many stories about him being ill came out just before the concert was announced, shots of him in a wheelchair, me thinks he wanted the papers to think he was ill, cos they prefer stories of controversy. Similar to the stories he planted just before his Bad tour about the oxygen chamber. Worked a treat lol. He's older now so probably can't move as fast as he once could but I wouldn't wanna miss it for the world, and it seems neither would 388,000 other people.
